Mission: The Shoulder Of The Central Gulf Coast was founded in 1988 to provide alcohol and drug treatment to all who seek it, regardless of ability to pay, in a Christian setting using the 12 steps of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA).
Programs: The Shoulder offers residential, intensive outpatient, halfway house and continuing care programs. While it is Christian-based, The Shoulder is certified by the Alabama Department of Mental Health.
