Causes: Emergency Medical Services & Transport, Health
Mission: To provide community ambulance service so as to serve and protect the lives of the citizens of shippensburg, pennsylvania and the surrounding vicinity from injury or damage caused by fire, accidents, incidents, or other life-threatening emergencies by the operation of an ambulance and emergency medical services organization, to provide non-emergency medical transportation, and to perform such other related acts that may aid in the health and welfare of the beneficiaries of service.
Programs: During the year ended december 31, 2017, shippensburg area ems served the community with emergency and non-critical patient transport services. During 2017 shippensburg area ems responded to approximately 3,873 incidents.
