Results: In 2023, lethality and prevention social media PSA reached over 120,000 viewers. In 2021, we launched our "Fresh Start Assistance" program, partnering with advocates to help domestic violence survivors in urgent need of basic necessities.

Programs: Educational Workshops for Communities - Our free educational workshops on lethal indicators of domestic violence, usually available to only select professionals, will now be available to the public. We want to engage, educate and empower people in communities, neighborhoods, churches, and schools to prevent, and end relationships homicides. Shielding lives, Inc. provides workshops on identifying lethality indicators to closet victims, survivors, concerned friends, and family members, teachers, counselors, service providers, and first responders. Your donations and corporate sponsorship will allow us to take the workshops to various localities nationwide. Grants for Domestic Violence Survivors - Victims of domestic violence often make several attempts to leave an abusive partner and are forced to return for economic reasons. Economic self-sufficiency is frequently the difference between violence and safety for many victims. We collaborate with various domestic violence organizations that already provide shelter, counseling, and job assistance by providing temporary financial support in the form of "Fresh Start Grants" that would allow a qualified domestic violence survivor access to immediate essentials. The award is intended to fund food and clothing for up to two months.
