Programs: Sheriff's meadow foundation acquires land for the preservation, administration and maintenance of natural habitats for wildlife on martha's vineyard both for educational purposes and in the interests of conservation. During fiscal 2017, sheriff's meadow foundation purchased 2. 5 acres of conservation land, maintained 2,077 acres of land, monitored conservation restrictions on 825 acres, maintained miles of trails, cared for the habitat for rare plants and animals, and conducted educational programs.
