Mission: Sheltering wings is a nonprofit health and welfare organization located in blythe, ca. They were organized in 2001 to provide program resources and advocacy, which creates choices and opportunities, for adults with developmental disabilities to reach their maximum potential.

thrift storea thrift store is operated to provide employment opportunities to clients. In 2012, the organization moved into a new facility and added a new enclave with a vocational trainer and various community service workers.
day programto provide assistance to clients in developing and maintaining vocational, social and behavioral skills, in order to assist some participate to obtain employment in the environment of their choice. The organization has recently upgraded its facilities and currently served 19 clients in this program.
