Mission: The mission of shalom task force, inc. Is to prevent domestic abuse and promote peaceful family relations in the metropolitan new york area and, more specifically, to help access services for families and individuals who have suffered from domestic abuse and/or sexual assault; to provide other services as may be necessary, including without limitation, counseling, financial and legal assistance, support services, and referral services; to provide educational programs about the problems of domestic abuse. Legal assistance and culturally and linguistically specific solicitation and services for victims of domestic abuse and sexual assault.
Programs: Provide services to victims of domestic violence with special emphasis in underserved populations. Domestic abuse hotline. Provide culturally specific services to victims of sexual and domestic assault.
