Mission: The purpose of the shalom institute: camp and conference center is to provide educational, social, cultural and recreational programs and services to the community and to strengthen the jewish identity of its jewish members.
Programs: Shalom institute: camp and conference center provides jewish living experiences, personal and social growth, skills development, jewish values development and an appreciation for life and the environment. Every summer children entering 3 through 12 grades enjoy camp jca shalom, the shalom institute camp and conference center's camping program. Camp jca shalom offers three one-week sessions for children entering grades 3rd-5th, two two-week sessions for campers entering grades 3rd and 4th, one two-week and two three-week sessions for children entering 5th through 11th grades, five one-week special trips for campers entering 9th to 11th grades and a special counselor in training program for those entering 12th grade.
