Mission: To ensure that nonprofit and faith-based organizations serving San Francisco's vulnerable populations are prepared for a disaster, and to play a role in the coordination of these agencies before, during and after a disaster.
Results: Organized since the 1989 Loma Prieta Earthquake, SF CARD has trained agencies and congregations to be better prepared to reach out to their clients and community after a disaster.
