I just wanted you all to know this docuseries really touched me! I just wanted to leave a review so that someone, somewhere, at the right time know that these real issues MATTER!!! I pray you will see that the people who shared their stories as well as the people behind this non profit organization is such an eye opening reality for many families. This was amazing… I know it’s other people who feel the same way. I will share this on FB & Instagram… because it is a blessing. May God bless each & every family that shared their story also the people who made it possible. Sending love from Norfolk VA…. Keep up the great work & thank God for you. Thank u Jesus for the families represented… please keep them under your provision.. in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen!!! Hopefully you all will do a follow up maybe in a year to see what has changed for the better bc I believe God will honor their sacrifices!!

I am competing for the title of Mrs. Pennsylvania International on March 16, 2019 as Mrs. Pennsburg International. The pageant requires a platform and since having my daughter in October 2016 I have a renewed love and appreciation for Sesame Street. My mother and father divorced when I was six months old and my mother returned to work full-time when I was five. As my mother’s only child, I spent a lot of time alone with her and my grandmother. The muppets and human characters on Sesame Street were some of my first friends. Because of the show, I entered kindergarten knowing how to read. I also credit Sesame Street with helping me develop strong social and emotional intelligence. When I chose Sesame Workshop as my platform, I was impressed to learn how much social impact work they do outside producing the show. To boot, the initiatives they tackle have depth and are timely and relevant. Sesame Workshop has given so much to so many people through the years; it is only fitting to give back to them so they can continue such important work.

Sesame Street has been a big part of our daughter Tori's life from the time she was little. Tori was born with a list of medial issues and a diagnosis of severe autism. During all of her struggles Sesame Street has always been there for her. Our family was overjoyed when Julia came to Sesame Street, because Tori has a character that she can relate to. Because of Julia children around the world can have a better understanding of autism. As a mother and an educator I could not be more excited about the positive changes coming to Sesame Street.
