My sister and I oversee a brain cancer non profit organization in Orlando. We help bring holidays into the homes of those who are battling brain cancer in our area. Additionally, we grant $6,000 in college scholarships every December to students who have lost parent or have a parent currently battling brain cancer.
Over the last several years, Servants Heart has helped bring food into the homes of our brain cancer patients who are terminally ill. It's been such a blessing to these families. Every week, when we go by Servants Heart they have our food bags ready with frozen meat, produce and basic meal items to last them the week. Our families have been so thankful to receive this food as many are struggling just to survive financially, mentally and spiritually. Most of the families we have been called to help lived pay check to pay check before their cancer diagnosis and now as a result of their medical issues, they are barely making it.
My family and I have volunteered at Servants Heart Center. We have been the beneficiary of their mission and I can say without any hesitation, this organization is amazing. They help thousands of people in our community every year. We are blessed to be associated with such an amazing organization. Thank you Servants Heart for all that you do to make Orlando a better place and for all of the lives you touch every week.

For $50 a month, my donation is able to provide food for several families. Break $50 a month into a daily figure and that's $1.00 and change per day. Who can't afford to donate a dollar and change per day to provide food for several families per month? This is a charity I will give to for my lifetime. I'm a former NYPD police detective and 2012 candidate for Sheriff in Orange County. I know about charitable organizations that are scams or waste most of their proceeds on administrative costs and salaries. This is NOT one of those charities. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND adding Servants Heart to your list of charitable organizations.-Mike Greene

The foundation I work for has been contributing to Servants Heart for over eight years. I have personally visited the site, and witnessed the behind the scenes production that goes on each week to pack and deliver meals to so many families. I am also a teacher with the public school system, and see how Servants Heart provides meals to students and their families in need. This organization is tireless in their efforts to reach as many families as possible. The volunteers are dedicated, and the office staff is purpose driven to the success of the charity. Being a part of this growing charity will help you realize that together we can impact the lives of those in need.
