Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Community Service Clubs, Developmentally Disabled Centers, Disabilities, Employment Preparation & Procurement, Human Services, Job Training, Residential Care & Adult Day Programs
Mission: Sertoma Center was originally founded in 1960 to serve children with developmental disabilities. As the school systems took over this responsibility, the agency moved to adult services. Now we serve approximately 150 adults offering a comprehensive program of vocational training, life skills training, job placement and residential services. Our role is to bring life and all its richness to those we serve.
Programs: Residential and day rehabilitation services for approximately 112 adults with intellectual disabilities.
