Without fail, Serenity's Grace is always going above & beyond to supply food, clothing, hygiene products, etc. to anyone in need... I am so thankful for this organization & everyone who diligently show up to be a blessing to others... Thank you so much!!!
We love being there for you!!! Especially during these hard times. Always love your infectious smile and hugs.
I live in a alf serenitys grace has really been helping they bring food donations i got some shirts they helped me get a couch and a good bed before the pandemic they helped feed the homeless and people in need in my community as well
Brian you are amazing, we are so glad we are changing the rooms and bringing goodies to you all! Can't wait for this pandemic to be over so we can have an event for you all.
I have been a volunteer with Serenity’s Grace for about 18 months now and I am absolutely delighted to be a part of this ministry. They are focused on direct support for the homeless and impoverished. I started with them at a weekly food pantry in the Paramore area of Orlando. We handed out fresh produce, fruits, milk, eggs, bread, canned goods and more. We would serve 60-80 people and their families every week. There were also occasions where we prepared and served hot meals and gave out clothing and blankets to those who needed them. There were plenty of opportunities to pray with those who needed or asked.
Then when COVID-19 struck we switched to handing out up to 200 prepared lunches a day, six days a week at different locations in Orlando and Altamonte Springs. Most of the time we focused on feeding the homeless around Lake Eola and the Paramore area of Orlando. On Thursdays we would bring the lunches and other food to the folks living at Remmington Inn in Altamonte Springs. When we had food remaining we would distribute it the homeless around Lake Dot and the Paramore area or take it to the Summertime Retirement Home near Lee Rd & I-4. Serenity’s Grace also had the good fortune through donations to bless the Summertime residences with furniture in half their rooms. We are still working on the other half. This is not a passive ministry.
I thank God for Serenity’s Grace for giving me the opportunity to serve my Lord in such a powerful manner. Words cannot describe the gratitude I see in people’s eyes when I hand their items. Koko Karras who runs the ministry along with her children Nikki & Steven and of course Koko’s granddaughter Serenity who inspired the ministry are more than amazing, they are truly a Godsend and blessing to Central Florida.
Mark you wrote a book on how we work you..lol.. Your dedication to our family is beyond amazing. If we could clone you I probably would get in more trouble. Thanks for being outstanding and loving.
Working with Coco at Serenity's Grace has been an absolute blessing! She has a gigantic heart for those who are greatest in need! The world needs more ministries like this one and more people like Coco!!!
I met ms koko living on the streets she was pressing me about my situation and i broke down when she shared her story. This lady hugged me and gave me hope. When I got my apartment her team showed up with a truck load of furniture and food and put my home together. I cried all night in my fully furnished apartment. They even brought me a bus card to get to my appointments when no one cares trust me they do!
Serenity's Grace has aided our family with food, furniture, and great advice for over 5 years. With the help of the many volunteers and workers, my family has been able to grow and prosper.
Serenity’s Grace does incredible work!! I’ve seen first hand how hard they work to help those in need in our community. They truly embody the saying “be the change you want to see in the world”
My name is Nate Kimbleton. I am from HIS Missions and we partner with Serenity's Grace. Let me tell you the most amazing part of this organization. Where others fear to serve, they serve with a glad heart.
After the shut down in early April, most organizations pulled back from serving the homeless. One phone call to Serenity's Grace and we learned they were ramping up outreach. With masks and gloves..we were out there passing out care packs and food. We came out every other weekend. Serenity's Grace was out there every single day!!! EVERY DAY!! In a pandemic. To serve others.
I am so grateful to know Serenity's Grace as a partner and a friend. They are fearless, bold and sacrificial in their love for others.
My family and I have been volunteering with Serenity’s Grace for this past year. We are amazed at the generosity and kindness this non-profit organization provides to the community. Through volunteering our eyes were opened to how much need there is in the community. It has given our 16 year old a new perspective and world view that she may have never realized previously. The organizer of this charity works tirelessly and commits all of her time to help those who are less fortunate. The world needs more people like Ms. Koko and our family is blessed to have worked with her.
Serenity's Grace is awesome. I've been volunteering on Tuesdays for a little over a month now and I love it. Giving out food is so much fun and I like how much we are able to give out. I really appreciate this non-profit.
Serenity Grace inc. is such a fun organization! I love all of their events and volunteers are always so helpful. What I love the most is that anyone can come get food no matter what their personal circumstances are, Serenitys grace is there to help, they don’t turn people away until there is no more to give. God Bless these good people helping the people of the community, creating unity!
I've been seeing these guys give food to the homeless for 10 plus years. They are amazing and never turn anyone away no matter the situation. Love these guys
Serenitys Grace has been a true blessing to many in the community... Rain or shine, they have been there for us... Never missing a day... Distributing a variety of nutritish fruits and vegetables... Meat, bread and even fresh cut flowers... We are truly grateful to each and every one that helps bring this much needed assistance to people that appreciate and depend on them... Thank you very much for all that you all do...
This is an awesome charity that I've had the pleasure of working with for the past 8 months. They are very personable and love helping people with a hand up to make their lives better. I've used some of the plants they have given to me to plant in our community garden.
I love Serenitys Grace!! Great nonprofit organization dedicated to serve those in need. I have served with them and know first hand the serious commitment this family and group of friends have with the community. They spread their love and kindness unconditionally.
Everyone on the team has a heart of compassion and want to help connect community members with immediate resources and connections that will help their lives grow in a positive direction. Please support this awesome organization by volunteering or by making a pledge.
Serenity’s Grace has done so much for the Boys & Girls Clubs. From giving the kids bikes, having them experience their first Orlando Magic game, to making Christmas special. This non profit has fed our club kids, put clothes in their backs, and most of all give them a sense of hope. Hope that today does not determine their outcome. And that what they are going through is on temporary.
About 8 years ago I was looking for somewhere for my boys (ages 8 &6 at the time) to volunteer and get involved in the community. Every place I found had age restrictions, kids needed to be at least 16 to volunteer. I feel that you are never to young to learn to give back. I kept looking and thankfully thru a coworker I learned about Serenity's Grace (Serenity's Gift of Love back then). I was so impressed with the warmth, caring, passion and love Serenity and Koko have for their community. We have been volunteering with them ever since. It has grown from a once/twice a month outreach to 8 or more a month. The more support Serenity's Grace can get the more good they can do! Come out and volunteer with this amazing organization.
Serenity’s Grace, has such a fabulous group of volunteers. Such a kind an dedicated group of people. I have watched Serenity’s Grace grow and help our community in so many ways. This group never misses an opportunity to help rain or shine. Very organized and thoughtful and compassionate to those in need. I am impressed every time I have had contact with this group. When I have been in need of assistance they have always made me feel welcome and never uncomfortable. Their outreach of support and kindness has also allowed me to help others in my life also in need so their kindness has had ripples that reach much further.
I have volunteered with Serenity’s Grace in the past and saw firsthand the hard work they do and passion they have for those in need. They are committed to what they do and are totally non-profit. They prepare meals and gather clothing and share resources that helps those in need. Great organization.
I’ve been working with KoKo since 2015 and it has completely changed my life. She and her family took me in when I had no one in Orlando and have helped shape me into who I am today. The amount of love and compassion that Serenity’s Grace has for the people that they help cannot be matched.
I, my husband, and my daughter have recently volunteered with Serenity’s Grace. What an amazing organization. The heart Miss Koko and Serenity have for the community in downtown Orlando is incredible. The way they feed and clothe the homeless and those in need and help these people get back on their feet, get a job interview, a warm meal. It’s incredible to see God working through this organization and everything it stands for. I cannot wait to volunteer with them again. I laughed, cried, gave hugs and hopefully some hope to those less fortunate. These people have a heart of gold and touched my heart when I volunteered there. Prayers have been bestowed upon their building and lives and we know God is going to show off big time through Serenity’s Grace!
I've had the pleasure multiple times to serve the homeless and member's of the community with Serenity's Grace. The founder, Karlette KOKO Karras and her family are Angel's on earth. The care and love they extend to those in need is humbling. We should all be as gracious and kind as they are. We walked Lake Eola in downtown Orlando with coolers of water and food, extending not only nourishment but prayers and love. I look forward continuing to serve with Serenity's Grace because I have seen the fruits from it.
I had the absolute honor of working with this group . The family who started it are the kindest , most pure hearted people I’ve come across . They truly want to help others and don’t mind doing the hard work to do it . We have stood out in the cold to give food and compassion to all those suffering or feeling alone in the world... one even gave the jacket off his back . That is what Serenitys Grace stands for ... treating others with respect , decency and kindness . The world needs more people like the ones I’ve met working with this organization.
what a great and useful place !!! they give out food to people who are in need and families living in hotels and the homeless in need .. they work endlessly getting everything prepared with food clothing and toiletry bags for those in need .. i would love to say so much about their giving and helping helping that they do throughout not only their neighborhood and throughout the communities in need
Without serenity’s grace my family and I would go hungry. This organization has showed compassion and acceptance to a community that most direly needs it.
This is an amazing organization that is ran by an amazing family. They help anyone and everyone. I've had the honor of working side by side with them several times. Each week they do pantry days and on Sundays we go to Lake Eola to help the homeless community. People Helping People with nothing but love!!
