SENIORS RESOURCE CENTER INC

Senior's Resource Center Transportation services have made a major difference in the quality of life for our family. As care givers for my mother and brother, my wife and I were spending a lot of time helping on various trips to the grocery store, medical trips and other daily living adventures. Once my brother enrolled with SRC transportation he was able to schedule his own trips and get groceries, and other needs met by himself. This has helped us by freeing up some of our time to live a healthier life and has allowed him to have a greater degree of independence and confidence.

The Senior Resource Center transports some of our Broomfield Seniors when the require services outside of our geographic coverage area. The clients have been able to get to doctor appointments that would have otherwise required them to have family members miss work or been an expense that for some creates a hardship. The drivers are friendly and well trained our clients have been quick to let me know that they are as comfortable with them as they are with the drivers that they interact with in Broomfield. The comfort level and dependability of the drivers is a testimony to the genuine care and desire to help the seniors that starts with the training and is present not only with the driver but with the office staff as well. I hope to continue working with SRC for many years to come.

I am truly grateful for all of the work Senior's Resource Center does in our community. I have seen the staff and volunteers go above and beyond for everyone who seeks help. In addition to providing needed services for older adults, Senior's Resource Center is also addressing larger issues of social isolation, depression, and anxiety which are so common as we age. I will continue to donate to Senior's Resource Center to support their good work.

We have a client who was dealing with memory issues and becoming socially isolated to the point he was not even interacting with his family. We were able to refer him to Senior Resource Center and things have certainly turned around. SRC was able to get him placement in their adult day program which he now attends four days a week. He looks forward to the days so he "can see his friends". He is engaged and keeps track of current events so he has new things to share with his friends. Senior Resource Center has made a world of positive difference in this gentleman's life.

The Senior Resource Center actively advocates for senior needs within their communities. They provide excellent services with staff that are well trained and experienced. I have leaned on their knowledge and experience to help my own friends and family in times of need.

I have been a volunteer for 37 years serving on the board for Senior Resource Center This has been so gratifying and I have certainly received more I have given. The staff and volunteers are so caring and committed to our mission and go above and beyond to help provide the services needed when an older adult or their family contact SRC for assistance.

For decades, I have had the pleasure of working with the Seniors' Resource Center. This is one of the most ethical & unifying organizations serving Jefferson County Colorado. SRC is not only the active voice for the senior population in our community, it also provides the programs that maintain the dignity and caring of that population.

Amazing resource for our Seniors in Colorado. When patients leave the hospital, there is a gap of transition and SRC has been able to provide assistance during these times; adding value to local hospitals in reducing unnecessary readmissions.

The Senior Resource Center provides our communities most vital services for our Senior population. Their transportation system is unmatched in serving the most basic needs for mobility challenged residents. My neighbors are transported to doctors appointments, dental appointments, and physical therapy sessions with precision and compassion. The transportation arm of SRC also meets everyday basic needs for clients such as grocery store trips and rides to meal centers. The system is professionally staffed, professionally managed and has a sterling reputation as a solution to those needs that Seniors often see as insurmountable.
The centers day care programs are also top flight, providing respite care for families dealing with cognitively challenged members. A skilled staff provides activities, nutrition and all facets of care for the most frail members of our community.
These are descriptions of just some of the programs provided by SRC. This organization stands as the finest example of how we as a society need to care for our aging populations. They are most deserving of recognition for their efforts in lifting the quality of life for those to often forgotten and left in isolation in our society.

SRC provides important needed services for seniors and their families in order to keep them active, safe and engaged with others. One of my girlfriends just lost her elderly mom last year and was so surprised to find out that she could have accessed a variety of resources for her mother but wasn't aware of SRC and the amazing things they offer.

I'm so honored to serve on the board of this organization. The Seniors' Resource Center provides incredible support to older adults - I'm very impressed with what they do every day.

SRC is a crucial partner in our county and our community in providing vital services to our aging population. They are often the only "go to" organization we have to work with or to refer to when issues or needs arise. Our partnership with them to provide affordable "community wheels" to the city is a crucial service to allow moderate income seniors to secure transportation to the type of services they need.

Seniors Resource Center plays an important role in servicing our seniors that can't get out and about on their own. They provide a warm, welcoming center for them to get out and socialize with other people outside of their homes. Their staff is dedicated and welcoming to all that need help with their elderly spouses, partners, family members.

I live within 2-blocks of the Senior Resource Center in Wheat Ridge, CO and have had the opportunity to attend several functions at the center and the job they do is amazing! It takes very special people to be able to love and care for those that are sometimes very unlovely. Unfortunately as we age our mind does not work the same as it di when younger.
Praise the Lord for the Senior Resource Center and its ability to be the help families need to handle those who need it!

For over 40 years Seniors Resource Center has provided with excellence and love services that allow seniors to age in their own homes. Whether is be the volunteer who builds a ramp so a senior can leave their home, safely or the employee who picks up and delivers a senior via van to a needed medical appointment, the staff tends to this fast growing population with care and devotion.

I’ve been a volunteer for SRC going on four years. It’s been very rewarding and truly helps the seniors in our community. From my experience, the organization is extremely well run and funds are put to good use.

I have been a volunteer driver for Seniors' Resource Center for most of this year. I signed up because I had extra time in some of my days, and I'm always looking for ways to be of service to someone. I drive for seniors that need rides, mostly to medical appointments. Being a volunteer gives me the opportunity to meet people in my community. Many of them live alone, and are glad to have someone to talk to. They are so grateful for the help, and thank me over and over. I am so glad to get to help in this small way, and I thank them for giving me the chance to meet someone new.

As I have learned more about what all SRC offers to the community, I am so impressed with the many services they offer to the disabled and seniors in our community. This population is often overlooked, but certainly not by SRC, the staff and the volunteers.

Senior Resource Center offers a variety of services for seniors. Th one that I am involved with is the volunteer driver program. We provide rides to medical appointments, shopping trips etc. for seniors who are not able to drive any longer. I usually take a book along and read while I wait and then take them home again. I have met some wonderful seniors who are so grateful for this service. As a retired teacher, I enjoy giving back to the community and staying involved with people in this way.
