Mission: Provide critically needed advocacy and legal representation to residents 60 years of age and older in order to uphold their rights, maximize their autonomy, and ensure that they recieve the benfits to which they are entitled.
Programs: For the fiscal year ended june 30, 2016 sclo provided legal services to 1860 seniors aged 60 and older in central new mexico. Sclo's legal services includes: document review and drafting; counsel and advice; negotiation; and full representation (before courts and administrative agencies). We also conducted legal clinics and presentations to approximately 1231 seniors at senior centers, community centers, and meal sites throughout central new mexico and widely disseminated brochures and other materials on elder law issues through our website at www. Sclonm. Org. Sclo served a total of 3091 seniors in total.
