Mission: SENIOR ADVOCACY SERVICES PROMOTES THE HEALTH, DIGNITY, RIGHTS AND QUALITY OF LIFE OF SENIORS AND DISABLED IN THE NORTH BAY. WE OFFER SERVICES THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN PEOPLE'S LIVES, HELPING SENIORS SELECT THE BEST HOUSING AND INSURANCE OPTIONS FOR THEIR NEEDS AND PROTECTING THE RIGHTS AND WELL-BEING OF PEOPLE LIVING IN LONG-TERM CARE FACILITIES.
Programs: The health insurance counseling and advocacy program (hicap) provides information, counseling, and advocacy on medicare and related insurance plans in a six county area.
ombudsman program investigates and resolves complaints made by or on behalf of residents in nursing homes, residential care and assisted living facilities.
