Mission: SELVA International was founded by Ph.D. ecologists to promote a new conservation ethic. We know that things like poverty and lack of awareness cause people to over-consume their natural resources, so we don?t waste money on fancy gimmicks or administering expensive projects. Instead, we help local communities implement their own science-based programs, resulting in low-cost conservation that protects our environment.
