Having spent nearly five years volunteering at Selah, I have seen lives changed in positive, even miraculous ways. Clients discover they are not alone when facing the challenges of an unplanned pregnancy, or if they are a young person or parent who is trying to navigate through complex issues in an often difficult, confusing world. All who walk through Selah's door find staff members and volunteers who care deeply for them as individuals and who listen carefully to their unique stories.
I am impressed with the love for the community demonstrated by those who are a part of Selah and the willingness to reach out and help anyone who wants someone to come alongside.
I love volunteering at Selah. It is a great outreach ministry for me and the work they do is worth every bit of time that is given. The staff truly loves their clients and we have seen lives saved. They also help to teach parenting to men and women which would be life changing for them and their baby.
My wife and I were introduced to Selah about 5 years ago at their annual meeting. We were immediately impressed by the passion both the staff and board members have for this cause. Since then we have come to know the staff very well and are even more impressed by not only the passion for this need but the great love they have for their clients and their needs. When we go into the center we are always greeted by their wonderful smiles and an overwhelming spirit of love. We know that their clients must realize they have found a place where someone truly cares for them and their needs. We are fortunate to have such people and an organization that believe in the srevice they provide and in the people they serve.
My husband and I have been supporting Selah for a few years now. We are amazed at the services and support they are offering for women at such a crossroad in their lives. We are proud parents of two adopted children and are always happy to hear the stories of adoption plans and decisions to parent. Selah is truly making a positive difference in the lives of women, men, and unborn children. Do not hesitate to support this worthy and grace filled nonprofit.
I joined the Selah Board two years ago. I am very careful about which organizations I volunteer my time with and am especially careful about which boards I join. I agreed to join because upon investigation I learned that the staff, board and volunteers were all highly professional and were involved because they truly want only the best for their clients. The staff are constantly bringing forth new opportunities for meeting the needs of NW Colorado. It is a top quality organization. Clients will find a listening ear and a helping hand. Donors will find an efficient and effective organization that honors their gifts and puts them to good use.

Selah is doing outstanding and important work in NW Colorado. They have an outstanding and well trained staff who are dedicated to their work and genuinely interested in helping their clients. Over the past ten years they have helped hundreds of young women, and many men as well, with compassion, understanding and love. Their motto is "Let's Talk". Do yourself a favor and take them up on that offer - talk with them and you'll be glad you did!

I love volunteering at (and also donating to) Selah. The staff is great and they do life-changing work. I mostly volunteer my photography services, and it's such a treat to get to meet so many of the clients and their babies. It puts a face to the growing number of clients served each day at Selah. Each client is unique, and the staff there goes out of the way to help each client in his or her own specific need. They always listen, always help where they can.
I feel blessed to be part of Selah! Supportive, loving, non-judgemental help in a time of need. Truly changing lives....
The Steamboat Pregnancy Resource Center offers a safe and peaceful environment to
consider the options and responsibilities that come with a pregnancy, planned or unplanned.
Their counsel, their medical help, their education classes and assistance with tangible resources, are
all done with a high quality of excellence. Their warmth and friendliness make them a highly
desirable place to come when facing questions and choices. Our experience with them has
been so helpful and the outcome very satisfying.
I have felt a call to participate in some way in the pro-life movement for a long time, but never did because I was concerned for the way I perceived that women were treated, that is, with judgment and condemnation. At Selah, the opposite is true. Women are valued, loved, and cared for, all without a trace of judgment. Judgment would not be tolerated and that starts from the top, with the CEO. This is a ministry that values and cares for all of humanity, women, men, families and the not yet born. I am privileged to just be associated with this amazing organization, and grateful that I can contribute is a small way.

In four years of volunteering, I have witnessed lives positively, often miraculously, changed because the trained staff ALWAYS seeks to serve each client with compassion, understanding, and the necessary time and support to help them make informed decisions about their lives. Clients receive accurate, up-to-date, and complete details about pregnancy and other life issues. In addition, the Center offers a comprehensive educational program on prudent parenting and child development, where clients gain valuable knowledge and "earn" credits for necessary items for their children (e.g. new crib and car seat, diapers, formula, etc). The Center's door is open to anyone who needs a place to rest, to pause, to feel accepted, and all services (from pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, to all other programs) are FREE of CHARGE.

Has unique place in the community as a loving, nurturing place where men or women can have their needs met accurately and compassionately, whether sonogram, post abortion counseling, baby needs ,adoption assistance, etc.

This center has grown in size and outreach every year, since it is doing a great job in meeting the needs of the community. People actually thanked me for inviting them to our annual fund raising banquet- and most people don.t usually thank you for asking them to give. With the new ultrasound and medical conversion, we expect even greater impact in coming years.
Everything about this organization is done with excellence. The staff truly cares about the clients they serve and the community. I would recommend my daughter, her friends, and any women I know going through a difficult time with an unplanned pregnancy there. They also provide after abortion help and parenting classes that are vital to the Steamboat Springs Community.

I consulted with this organization to help them provide ultrasound services to Steamboat Springs. I found the leadership and staff to be some of the best I have worked with anywhere in the country. Top notch group!

I was first introduced to the Resource Center in 2010 when my son and his then 15 year old girlfriend found themselves pregnant. I knew that they were going to need help to figure out what the best options were and I definitely needed help to guide them through this. Not only did they provide my son and his girlfriend with many options from parenting to adoption, but they helped me make sense of this situation and gave me the tools I needed to help them with their decision. I am so very proud to say that my grandson, who is now 2 years old, was adopted out to a wonderful family on October 23rd 2010. The director of the resource center, who I also consider a friend, was there at the hospital when the day came to give my first born grandchild to another couple to raise and cherish. That was the hardest day of my life and she held me as I broke down and tried to make it all make sense. But, the story did not end there! Many people do not know that not only do they guide the women and men facing the pregnancy, but they are instrumental in family guidance as well! Even after my grandson was adopted, I continued to meet with the director and talk about my fears, my dreams for my grandson, my gratitude for their help, and the life they had helped give to my son. Through them we have an open adoption and the adoptive parents are absolutely wonderful!!! I am now the proud grandmother to a wonderful little girl who is 6 weeks old, and YES they helped my daughter, myself, my husband and my son through her pregnancy as well! I do not know if I could have gotten through these trials without them, and I am SO glad that I don't have to ever know!! I will continue to visit and donate as often as possible to this truly amazing organization!! I cannot say enough about the director, the staff and the resources this amazing group of people have given to my family. I am forever grateful for them and I am so proud to be part of their organization forever!
This pregnancy resource center is truly a nonprofit with a huge heart and presence in our community! Young men and women in crisis, know where they can find the truth and support for making a knowledgeable decision for their future! The staff and volunteers are compassionate and caring and more than willing to go the extra mile to be helpful. The fact that the center has continued to grow in the programs they offer has widened their influence, and they are seeing a greater number of clients.
In only a few years, I have seen SSPRC grow from a small office and limited program to a complex organization with beautiful facilities serving many people in the community. The Center has developed a program that benefits both men and women, people in different situations of life, and people seeking information and personal help. SSPRC has reached out to the community by providing information to young people, advising parents, giving emotional help through difficult situations, and providing a rewarding opportunity for people to help others in the same community. The director and volunteers have been trained professionally to help them fulfill their desire to serve others. In a short time, the services provided by SSPRC have multiplied exponentially and will continue to multiply as they organize a medical conversion center. SSPRC is not just an office, it is a group of loving, kind, hard-working people.
The Steamboat Springs Pregnancy Resource Center has changed the lives of so many woman and men in the community. The compassion the staff has for each individual that walks through that door is beyond words and is accepted by the brokeness that each client feels. It is a place of acceptance and gratitude, the passion of the Director has spilled over into the community with a great response, with the new ultrasound machine just purchased through generous donors and the medical conversion in process the center will be able to reach even more of the community. Thank you for your dedication and serving Steamboat Springs.
