I traveled to Zambia to help train the well drillers in air rotary drilling. The people were very friendly and welcomed me with open arms. Seeds of Hope did a great job of hosting. I found that they had truly done some amazing things with very little. In the time since I have been there, the organization has continued to grow and do even more amazing things. I highly recommend anyone interested in helping to consider investing time in this organization.

Mission: Seeds of Hope International Partnerships’ (SHIP) vision is to train and equip individuals, and through strategic partnerships, transform impoverished communities in the developing world. This vision is implemented as SHIP (1) trains people to improve their communities through holistic community development, (2) equips people with tools and practical skills to solve problems within their communities, (3) transforms impoverished communities by bringing knowledge that reduces the prevalence of water-borne diseases and improves health and quality of life, and (4) partners with organizations, churches, and individuals to bring lasting change.
Results: Since 2003, Seeds of Hope has brought clean water to nearly half a million people!
Target demographics: Water-stressed communities, subsistence farmers, and community members seeking training in vocational skills in Africa.
