This is a great opportunity for the birds in Florida. I love Seaside Bird Sanctuary in Indian Shores Florida. This is the reason why I want to retire and spend my time at Indian Shores Florida so I can volunteer here full time. Without this sanctuary our entire world will suffer. Humans so easily harm bird wild life, and it is our duty as humans to fix our errors.

Nonprofit Overview
Causes: Animals, Bird Sanctuaries
Mission: Seaside Seabird Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and relies on donations to promote its mission of rescuing and rehabilitating sick, injured, and orphaned birds and protecting the environment they, and all of us, depend on.
Results: The Sanctuary receives over 2,000 sick, injured or orphaned birds annually, and an average of 75-100 bird rescue phone calls weekly. Our rescuers able to respond to 60% of the calls, and are deployed to locations within 400 square miles of the Sanctuary. Seaside Seabird Sanctuary also cares for over 100 permanently injured resident birds, representing 20 species.
Target demographics: Rescue, rehabilitate, and release sick, injured, and orphaned wild birds.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Our hospital admitted nearly 3,000 birds.
Geographic areas served: Tampa Bay Area
Programs: Rescue, rehabilitation and release of injured birds, educational programs, and a sanctuary for permanently disabled birds.
