I had no idea that such a comprehensive care facility existed until a friend suggested I donate my horse Noah. He is a large horse -one of those gentile giants. Too large for me ,
Before I would allow him to go to Seamark I had to check things out. I was overcome with the breadth of the program. He went for a 60 day probation period in 2014.He found his special place.
Seamark ranch is a beautiful landscape that God has placed His hands on. Kids who could have ended up in a tragic and abused system instead find their way to a happier, healthier home. You can just see that light when you arrive there. My favorite landmark is the giant cross on a prayer hill that I wish I had in my backyard. Having witnessed foster care through DCF and the courts, I'm glad places like Seamark exist to break the cycle by allowing God and His people to change lives and I hope they grow in tremendous expansion to help even more children. God bless Seamark!
My husband & I began serving as relief parents 2 months ago. We would load up our 4 kids to crowd into a few beds for the weekend - and couldn't be happier. We love the way the staff truly cares for these kids & wants to help them be the best version of themselves. We love how every building, every volunteer, every donation is a reminder to these kids that someone cares & is rooting for them. Most of all, though, we love the kids.
I didn't know Seamark existed until I ran in the Tough Mudder. After the race, we toured the place and found out what the place was about. My wife and I had recently finished the training for foster care and adoption as we have a heart to help kids in the foster care system.
We inquired more about Seamark and have been heavily involved since. We love the people who work for Seamark and their incredible hearts. We also love the kids and see the huge difference this place makes in their lives. I'm so happy to be connected with such an incredible organization.
My name is Talia, I have lived at seamark. They always made sure I was taken care of. They helped me become the person I am today. Seamark is the place you’d want to be. Seamark is filled with loving, caring, kind, and generous people. I had first- hand experience. They helped me become the successful young lady I am today, they have also helped me find my adopted family I have now. They deserve 5 stars.
My name is Summer and I think what Seamark has done for these kids is truly amazing. All of the things they have been through, has been wiped away by the goodness of Jesus. Just keep doing what you are doing, because you are doing it right. I live with my mom and dad and my older brother, and younger sister. I am very thankful for the life I have. However, I want to do more. Jesus has always been a part of my life and I knew he's had my heart from the beginning. I feel it's my calling to serve the Lord. I hope one day that I will continually volunteer at Seamark, I completed the mud run in 2016!! It was amazing! Thank you Seamark, and more importantly, thank you God.
