This group works hard to present the history of the local area to residents and visitors. It operates a museum and park just east of downtown Sealy on Main Street, about a block past the railroad tracks.
Every year it hosts the "Spring Picnic", which is a growing event. It started by portraying what life was like in Sealy when it was founded in 1879, but has grown to include other time frames. It is also growing from a one-day to a multi-day event.
