Causes: Disabilities, Homeless & Housing, Housing Search Assistance, Independent Housing for People with Disabilities, Low-Income & Subsidized Rental Housing, Senior Citizens Housing & Retirement Communities, Seniors
Mission: "To connect Seniors, Disabled, Veterans, and LGBTQIA individuals with needs by securing affordable/low-income housing and wraparound resources, where everyone who needs a home, will get a home, and feel at home."
Results: We have helped hundreds of seniors, disabled, veterans, and LGBTQIA persons find safe low-income or affordable housing, jobs to help supplement their incomes, and referred them to resources to help with their overall wellbeing.
Target demographics: Seniors, Disabled, Veterans, and LGBTQIA persons to find low-income or affordable housing with wraparound referral services
Direct beneficiaries per year: over 600 individuals to be placed into low-income or affordable housing with supportive wraparound referral services
Geographic areas served: Mainly in Orange, Seminole, Osceola Counties and some additional areas of North, Central, and South Florida
Programs: 1.) The Shared Housing Program/Project 2.) The Star Referral Program/Project 3.) The Sunshine Buildings Project/Program
