Causes: Centers to Support the Independence of Specific Populations, Education, Human Services, Literacy, Remedial Reading & Encouragement, Special Education
Mission: The mission of the organization is bringing together educators and parents to focus on language/learning challenges of young children though the programs provided by the children's learning center. The children's learning center assists families of children with language and/or learning challenges.
Programs: The scottish rite foundation of utah operates two children's learning centers, one in salt lake city, utah and one in ogden, utah. Presently, we are providing assistance and training to parents of children with learning challenges as well as therapy for the children suffering from those challenges. We were able to serve approximately 1,372 children during 2016 and make 3,797 visits at no cost to the children or their families.
