I am a volunteer and former SCORE Association and SCORE foundation Board member. I can vouch for what a great organization SCORE is. It helps entrepreneurs start and grow thousands of small businesses a year thus helping build our economy and creating badly needed jobs. I can personally attest to the fact that donations are wisely used to bring these valuable services to our communities.
When I was considering buying a business, I spoke to SCORE. The SCORE counselor provided me with great insight and suggestions of what I should think about. I attended their seminar on Starting and Managing Your Business. I was pleased to see the number of counselors in attendance, and to see the depth and breadth of knowledge that they had.
The Dallas and Tarrant County SCORE volunteers put their expertise out there for people considering opening a business. They offer tools, counseling and referrals to experts in the business community. I would recommend anyone considering business ownership to contact their local SCORE office and get a consultation.
SCORE is an invaluable resource for aspiring entrepreneurs. The counselors work tirelessly and with great passion, always offering information and advice that is in the client's best interest. A start-up business? A franchise? SCORE will lead you in the right direction.
One of the best kept secrets of public service! SCORE provides high impact advice and counsel to those who are, or will be, rebuilding our U.S. economy, the entrepreneurs and business owners of America!
My local SCORE chapters are great to work with. We both work together to help people better understand what it takes to be a successful business owner. Vic Scimo/FranNet
Great resource to those exploring getting into business! I have worked with all the offices in Western Pa for the past 9 years and have always handled clients with professionalism and care.
Everyday on the news we hear how Small Business is the back bone of the economy! Some folks talk about but SCORE volunteers DO something about it. Truly FREE advice from truly EXPERT volunteers not only helps their clients get a business started... they help them succeed and be the employERS that will make a difference for many others.
SCORE is a fantastic organization helping entrepreneurs and business owners through education and mentoring. Learn from those who have "been there and done that!"....and services are provided at no charge or a very low cost.
SCORE has been the "go to" referral source for our clients in Colorado for over 16 years. As a former SCORE client myself many years ago, I can speak from personal experience. It's a solid organization with a pool of talented business professionals from a wide variety of industry backgrounds. Their counseling services are extremely valuable to those exploring business ownership.
SCORE provides would be entrepreneurs and small business owners with an invaluable tool.......information! In Minneapolis I've worked closely with several SCORE counselors, all of whom have dedicated countless hours coaching and mentoring people with dreams of building successful small businesses.
FranNet has partnered with Score for several years. We believe the work SCORE does with small business people is critical to our economy. The SCORE volunteers are dedicated to helping small business people succeed. They give of their time and talents in a selfless maner. The management team and Board of SCORE are some of the best people I have ever had the honor to work with.
The personal satisfaction from my SCORE involvement are the clients with whom we have become closely involved and sharing with them the hurdles, sometimes disapointments; and eventual the joy in seeing a business survive in some cases and grow in other cases.
SCORE and The SCORE Foundation work tirelessly to support America's small businesses. As an attendee of The SCORE Foundation's annual SCORE Awards, I've had the pleasure of learning about so many individual success stories and their dedicated SCORE volunteers. This organization is inspirational!
The organization helps me as a small business as they hold workshops on topics such as federal contracting, payroll, and marketing. I value the services as it helps me to grow and manage my business.
Actually my role with SCORE has been as a volunteer, client (SCORE helped me with my first business plan) and field expert (as a regular blogger for SCORE). SCORE is the only place where small business owners can get advice and help that is in their best interest. No product/service pushing, no political agendas - just wisdom and experience to help grow small business. I can also say that Ken Yancey and his amazing team have taken this non-profit to a world class organization.
I have been a volunteer for over 5 years and have seen the impact that SCORE has had in helping people trying to start a business or who are struggling while in business. Helping people to realize their entrepeneurial dreams and create jobs helps not only the people involved but the local economy as well. The fact that nearly 13,000 volunteers across the country are supported by a handful of people in Virgina is absolutely amazing. Their dedication and commitment to the mission of SCORE is without parallel.
I am constantly impressed with the caliber of folks I meet and see at events. They are one of the first sources I seek out when I have questions regarding my small business.
