Mission: SoL's area of study touches on every aspect of people and society. We see better, more holistic education, decentralization of institutions and the application of human scale as the solutions to the major problems. Our activities include organic agriculture, consumer rights, cooperatives and worker-owned businesses, alternative currency and private non-exploitative banking, tax abolition, geonomics, community land trusts, ecological use of resources, neighborhood and community rights and control, consensus decision making, right livelihood, right education, appropriate technology, human scale and local self-reliance.
