Mission: Scholarship Flight Training (SFT) is entering it's sixth year. Our purpose is to make aviation available to all high school students. SFT is supported and financed by community members, businesses and foundations. The program supplements high school curriculum by offering a credited private pilot flight-training program for 16-18 year old students and introductory courses in aerospace engineering and aircraft mechanics. The academic programs draw on disciplines taught in high school. The integration of disciplines provides a cohesive context, which is interest driven and project based. As a result, our students maintain a high level of commitment and self-direction.
