I have many stories I could tell of my life with horses, but at the moment I am concerned about this man Trump has offered the job of ruling over the BLM. This man is RYAN ZINKE. We must not allow him to become THE SECRETARY OF INTERIOR... At the moment he is a Montana Senator, He sponsored a Bill to open HORSE STAUGHTER PLANTS in his state.
Eighty percent of Americans are already on record as being vehemently against HORSE SLAUGHTER, where currently horses are processed in Mexico and Canada and the meat flown to Europe and Asia for human consumption. Also actively opposed by citizens are the mass roundups and cruel impounding of wild Horses and Burros in dry lot pens mostly FOR THE BENIFIT OF FREEING UP GRAZING LANDS FOR THE CATTLEMEN IN 11 (eleven) WESTERN STATES!!!!!!!!! Opposition is already mounting against Mr. Zinke, who would have jurisdiction over the BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT'S WILD HORSES!!!!!! HE STATED ON December 15th that "WHEN A HORSE IS TO OLD TO RIDE, TOO OLD TO BREED, OR TOO EXPENSIVE TO FEED, THE HORSE IS DISPOSED OF." If Zinke excepts the post ---- (may have already happened) the lives of 45,000 mustangs still running free on the range will hang in the balance.... The over riding fear of many is that the Trump-Pence administration and nominees like ZINKE will side with fossil-fuel interest (gas, oil and mineral harvesters), and ignore the need to preserve the lands, forests and rivers for generations to come.. All of this will be sorted out in the looming confirmation hearings... So PLEASE if you love horses and want to preserve their right to live free and stop these horrible roundups and killing of these beautiful intelligent creatures, LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD!!!!!!
