We are huge fans of this incredible rescue!
I’ve always wanted a miniature horse so in 2015 we found Saving Grace Miniature Horse Rescue in Emmett Michigan.
Tammy worked with us to find the perfect pair for our family, Raspberry and Rosie.
Two years later we added a third, little Skittles.
I’ve called and messaged Tammy many times over the years about different things concerning the ponies and she’s always been there for us. SGMHR is the best and we will always support them!
SGMHR takes exceptional care of all its special needs miniature horses and those it carefully adopts out to others (like me). We have 2 of their foals - now 2 years old. They do the right things, in the right ways, for the right reasons. I'm honored to be part of SGMHR.
I have known Tammie Miller who runs Saving Grace Miniature Horse Rescue for many years.
I have watched as Tammie does everything she can to save these wonderful miniature horses who need saving. When she brings one home, she gives it all the care it needs, being dental work, farrier for their hooves, and a thorough Vet check to see if there is any medical care that the miniature may need.
She brings these special miniature horses back to health and finds wonderful forever homes for them. I have had the privilege to watch some of the rescues being in the show ring with their new families❤️
Saving Grace Miniature Horse Rescue does amazing work and you know that any horse lucky enough to be saved by the rescue, will go on to be a very happy horse.
We've been visiting and donating to Saving Grace Miniature Horse Rescue for years. Tammie takes great care of the horses and puts her whole self into caring for them. We love visiting to love on them and brush them and learning about each horse and how far they've come.
Saving Grace Miniature Horse Rescue is amazing. Our dear friend that runs the rescue has a heart of gold and always makes sure these little horses come first and they are taken care of with a lot of love. The mini's she rescues each have a story which is heartbreaking. But once they enter Saving Grace their life will totally change. She rehabs those who are able to make that change and those who are not able will stay at the rescue with love and attention for the rest of their lives. She has had to make some hard decisions of letting them cross the rainbow bridge. Grieving over each one knowing this was the right and humane decision but never easy. I admire this rescue and those that keep it going. I have two rescued miniature horses myself and have contacted Saving Grace with questions and concerns about mine and she has always responded and helped me work through many issues some even life threatening and brought us through. I so appreciate this rescue. It is more than 5 star and should be commended for all they do and what they will continue to do in the future.
I have adopted my mini Nemo from SGMHR and assisted in adopting 2 more minis for my best friend. We love them very much and share in their care. We have had a really great relationship with Tammie for years now. She is always responsive with our questions. She runs a great rescue and we have visited several times. Always a pleasure and a treat to work with SGMHR
I have volunteered at Saving Grace Miniature Horse Rescue in the past. I follow her page and can honestly say she has the biggest heart ever. She is very knowledgeable about her minis' conditions and what care they need. I've always admired her hard work and dedication to her cause. Her compassion and sensibility are so important. Knowing when they need a particular route of care or knowing "it's time" to let one of her rescues go to avoid suffering has always been admirable to me. That someone cares THAT much that she would take them in to give them love and then, understandably have to say goodbye. Knowing she wanted them to feel love and be treated humanely in the process. Saving Grace is 100% the rescue that deserves my review. I look forward to donating my time and donations in the future.
This rescue is top notch and ethical to the highest degree.
The horse's care, comfort, health and emotional well-being always come first.
They often arrive sad, scared and down trodden but are soon happy playful and secure little souls. They are well cared for and seem to know it. Above all, they are loved beyond measure.
