Savin’ Juice is an amazing rescue run by a dedicated volunteer team. Priority is taken to ensure good matches with dogs and that the home they go to is their last forever family! Homechecks, ownership verification are done to make sure dogs go to safe environments. Dogs are always the priority!Being volunteer run they do warn there is a waiting period to hear back... as with any volunteer organization I’m sure they also have jobs, families and dogs of their own!Love this group of women and the fosters they have. Very proud to know them!
I know my donations go to good use and I am always happy to give what I can to save the dogs with them!
I adopted from Savin’ Juice. While I was at first surprised at the process once I completed it I understood why they asked what they did and why the process works the way it does. It’s about the dogs. They worked hard to ensure I was a good match for our new fur baby I see a lot of rescues just wanting to push dogs through, they don’t. They want to make sure it’s a forever placement. Very grateful!
They have taken a few dogs that I needed help with in CA. What I like is they don't just take the cute puppies. They take the young, the old, the injured, and the ones that need extra love. They always give me updates and I know they do their best to place dogs into their forever homes. They stand by their dogs.
They were really responsive and honest about their dogs needs. We haven't adopted yet but we are waiting for the right fit for our family.
We adopted a dog from SJ. The dog was well started on training and we were offered any post adoption support we needed! Would adopt again!
Such a sweet organization! Love that they take animals that are at risk of being euthanized and find homes for them. I appreciate their honesty in making sure it’s a good human-pet fit!
I love this rescue! They focus on best fit not just pushing dogs through. It can seem like a slow process at times but once explained it made sense, the goal isn’t just adoption but a forever family. Highly recommend.
We decided to foster and started our adventure with a pregnant dog. Savin’ Juice was there every step of the way. Making sure we had everything we needed. Well, momma had 13 healthy puppies and Savin’ Juice was great. We kept 1 of the puppies. They were very thorough in their vetting for families for momma and puppies. I recommend Savin’ Juice if you want to foster or you are looking for a furry companion. They are amazing!!!
While I never want to bash an organization which helps dogs in need; I will share if Saving Juice is unable to make time to communicate with a foster parent who has opened their heart and home to one of their dogs, there is something fundamentally wrong with their program. Samantha, the founder, was horrific and refused to communicate with me outside of facebook. Her time was of more value without regard of my working full time and not being able to be plugged in to a social media platform in hopes she could give me the time of day. If Covid has you so busy wrangler children not in school, that is completely understandable as has been a trying time for everyone but don't recruit foster parents you cannot take time to communicate with. It was constant gaslighting from Samantha and her adoption placement specialist Kristin (who also refused to communicate with me outside of Facebook). While they may have killed my enthusiasm to foster with them, I have been fostering with two other reputable agencies that appreciate my efforts and communicate with me like adults do rather than through a social media platform. Likewise, these rescues do not have unrealistic training expectations for a non responsive dog and they let me have input on the potential adopters rather than placing with a family member of the Savin Juice staff. Please by all means rescue their dogs - just don't foster them unless you want to feel unappreciated and disposable. Worst volunteer experience I have ever had and I dealt with DHS as a foster mom for two years.
Savin Juice Medical Rescue is all about the dog. From fostering to training, they put in a lot of work to rescue. The group of women who run this non-profit are amazing to work with. I teamed up with Savin Juice a year ago to foster dogs until they find their forever home. I have had so much support from the rescue as far as advice and how to handle different situations involving my foster pups. They love the dogs and do research to make sure the right family is matched up with the right pup. I just adopted my 3 year old, (foster dog) Weimaraner from Savin Juice and he's made my life so much better.
I've been following Savin' Juice for a couple years now and really admire all they do for animals in need! Their application process really showed that they are doing everything in their power to make sure their dogs and pups end up in good homes where they'll be loved and treated right! Thank you Savin' Juice!
Originally we found Savin Juice via social media. We had gone to a couple of their events and quickly fell in love with some of the pups. What also drew us to Savin was the genuine love they had for the dogs. Their adoption process helps ensure a good fit for the dogs and the family. We ended up getting a totally different dog than planned because after meeting her, we all fell in love. She is one spoiled little girl. I’m so thankful for Savin matching us up with our sweet Harli.
We love Savin' Juice! This rescue truly advocates for the animals and puts them first. We adopted our two girls from Savin' Juice and had such a great experience that we decided to foster for them. It really is a community of amazing people and board members who's number one focus is the well being of the animals in their care and the ones they hope to rescue.
We've adopted 3 dogs through savin juice and they have always been very helpful and straight forward. We've also fostered a few with great results. Their objective is for the dog's long term well being and shows in their attention to the details of the potential homes. Great organization .
We have adopted two dogs from Savin Juice over the last three years. The dogs have brought our family a lot of joy. We appreciated that Savin Juice made sure the dogs were medically checked out as well as put them in foster situations to make their adoption a success by having them in family situations. The staff was always professional and made sure the dog we adopted was a good fit for us. Thank you Savin Juice for your continual service of saving dogs so they can be to adopted!
I have adopted 2 dogs through Savin Juice. I have also fostered for them several times now. I love the ladies that give their all to save dogs and find them their perfect forever homes. As an all volunteer rescue, I am in awe of the countless hours and dedication that is shown for our 4 legged friends. The majority of dogs in the rescue are not medical cases, but when one comes into the rescue, there is such dedication to providing whatever vet care the dog needs. I highly recommend Savin Juice for adoption and fostering !
Savin’ Juice is an amazing rescue run by a dedicated volunteer team. Everyone cares about the dogs and does what is best for them. Everyone puts a lot of time and effort into loving the dogs. I have adopted from Savin' Juice and I am a foster, so I'm quite familiar with the process. Savin’ Juice priority is, ensuring good matches with dogs, always will be, the dogs. Homechecks, ownership verification are done to make sure dogs go to safe environments. The dogs live in their volunteers' homes, until a family is found that fits the dog. I will continue to recommend SJ for adoptions and fostering.
Savin juice really cares about their dogs. Everything they do is in the best interest of the dogs under their care. One of the few rescues around doing things right!
Adopted with Savin juice and they were so helpful and really cared about the dogs! They put so much money and effort into our new fur baby and he is happy, healthy and thriving.
I have adopted from Savin' Juice (more than once), so I'm quite familiar with their process. Anyone that complains about "jumping through hoops" doesn't understand how this group works. SJ's #1 priority is, always has been, always will be, the dogs. Their dogs live in their volunteers' homes, until the BEST family is found. Period. They take rescue seriously, I wish all rescues did.
Savin' Juice is a FOSTER based rescue. There is no central shelter or office. All business is conducted from volunteers' homes. If you don't receive a "fast enough" response? Be patient! Try again. I'm GLAD they don't "pre-adopt" (especially puppies) until after an in-person meet. That adorable puppy you fell in live with on Facebook? She may not like you.
I wish more rescue organizations were this deliberate, this intentional, about finding the RIGHT home for their fur-fosters.
I adopted a dog with them... was happy with the experience as a whole.
Application was fast and easy. I appreciated they made sure the dog was going to a safe home, it’s because they care.
Volunteers and the foster mom were so friendly and answered all my questions. Adoption cost included vet care and that helped keep it affordable and kept our dog healthy.
Highly recommend!
Savin’ Juice has been so incredible in the time that I’ve been with them. They are flexible and do all in their capabilities to ensure that every dog goes to a good, loving perfectly-fit family. I’ve never seen such heart go into the healing, raising, adopting, and even post-adoption processes! Events are always very lively, and the members are always very friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend adopting or fostering!!!
Had inquired about adopting an adult great Dane. Took five days to respond and all they responded with was asking if I wanted that specific dogs puppies. There was no description of the puppies or any information at all about the dog I had inquired about I decided to message them on Facebook about the lack of communication and info in the email and they said They were not a good fit for me due to my time frame needs which is complete BS. Lack of organization and rude
These people want you to jump thru hoops in order to adopt. Sent them pictures of my fencing in back yard and everything was great. We only adopt from pounds and shelters. But shelters like these always want to be really invasive and come look at your house inside and out. This is total BULL. I will never allow strange people in my house. If anyone out there are looking to adopt....go to a county pound and avoid all this BS.
