The largest fox rescue in the nation, SAF rescues captive born (they cannot be released back into the wild) foxes from fur farms, owner surrenders, hoarding and other less than ideal situations. They have also rescued an endless array of mink, cats, ditch kittens, dogs, horses, reptiles, skunks, an errant pine marten...any animal in need. They have a mating pair of African black-backed jackals, hand raise the kids, bringing them to Canid sanctuaries to help educate the public on how fantastic they are. I took a tour of the MN facility last September and I was holding back tears at the end,... I didn't want to leave! They also have a Florida location and are constantly expanding. About 14 months ago, they shut down the largest fur farm in North America, and the fur farmer signed a legally-binding contract that he would never farm fur again. They have worked tirelessly getting these 500 foxes vaccinated, neutered, and have criss-crossed the country in their van, transporting them to zoos, sanctuaries, even private homes that have fox experience and spacious outdoor enclosures. The foxes get to walk on ground for the very first time, run, play, dig dens, have access to vet care, eat nutritious food, engage in enrichment activities and be loved. They have less than 100 foxes left on the farm. This has never been attempted before and they're gonna pull it off. I send them boxes of treats & toys whenever I get the chance and the staff couldn't be nicer!
They’re a wonderful charity that saves tons of little lives. I’ve donated and bought from their online shop, and the items are always high quality.
Nonprofit devoted and working tirelessly to save foxes and other animals. I admire all that they do to help and nurture the animals they save. They also educate the public through their posts. Thank you
SaveAFox has really offered a lot of experience with not just foxes, but general info as well upon several different species, such as horses, jackals, mink, and more. I especially like the light they shed on coyotes, as they’re one of my favorite animals and also one of the most judged and looked down upon in this world, so I greatly appreciate what they do. Definitely one of my favorite rescue organizations around!!
Saveafox and the people who run it are angels!! They save foxes from certain death at fox farms. I have visited this place and the foxes are very happy. I sponsor Finnegan fox. His laugh is so great and always brightens my day!
I love that this organization shares what they do on youtube, it helps to spread awareness about the awful things that can happen to foxes.
I LOVE this SAVE a FOX channel! Beautiful couple SAVING YOUNG and Older Foxes LIVES! Their channel TEACHES US that Foxes are BEAUTIFUL AND LOVING and we MUST TREAT THEM WITH LOVE and CARE FOR THEM! ❤♥❤
Saveafox Corporation is one terrific home for foxes to live in. The owners love them and they are saving them from death and having their fur peeled off. They take excellent care of them ,and you can see that in their videos.
They rescue them, love them, feed them, medicate if needed and then adopt them out to loving homes. What more could anyone ask for, certainly the foxes who are saved are very happy and so are we citizens who get to watch their good work. I adore FINNEGAN......
Through watching you guys I now see foxes in such a different light. Here in Australia we are taught to not have any regard for them but now I see them as such a lovable gentle creature. And those pups my God cutest things ever
I discovered Saveafox corporation through their YouTube channel. It is clear that the animals are very well taken care of and happy. Moreover, it is a great way to inform the public that foxes are not pets, it is a great way to counter many other videos on the internet showing them in houses, kept as pets. So I received a lot of information thanks to them and more people should be aware of the actions of this nonprofit.
It's clear from every video the love and care with which the foxes are looked after. Absolutely great to see. From feeding to toys to vet visits you can sense the joy and commitment to the best for the foxes.
This is a wonderful non-profit who does so much good for so many animals. They are great people and the foxes they save are so adorable!
The most loving and exceptional non profit that takes such great care of all the foxes as well as all the other animals at their sanctuary. They are just fabulous.
All the work and the effort that Mikayla puts towards these lovely creatures fills my heart with joy and hope, and blesses my eyes
They make me happy every single day!!! I cannot believe the true love these people have for their fur babies!
I love the way that this organization focuses on the health and happiness of the foxes they save, and not just on creating a good public image, though they have that as well.
I love watching their videos and content! Mikayla and Ethan have a genuine love and concern for rescuing foxes from bad situations. They give the foxes an environment for them to live out their lives surround by love! Finnegan Fox's hehe's always brighten my day. I've ordered several calendars and donated and love learning about former and current SAF residents!!
I really was impressed by the compassion and uniqueness of this charity. People save dogs and cats. But for the first time a saw a group rescue foxes. And there are a whole bunch of them in their shelter. Saving a group of animals which are not so friendly with humans or receptive to them must really require great effort, care and patience.
The way these foxes are treated and cared for seems to suggest they are part of the family and not merely a saved animal dependent on the rescuer.
And the videos and photographs posted on You tube are not only very sweet and endearing they are very insightful and motivating as well. The care given to the foxes is an example of how we could be compassionate and friendly with even not so friendly creatures. And how true rescue and rehabilitation goes beyond just food and shelter to actual behavior and engagement with the survivor.
From playing with the foxes to celebrating their birthdays, Save a Fox has shown great compassion and love in rescuing the foxes. And has shown the true meaning of saving and adopting an animal in distress.
I hope their efforts are acknowledged and appreciated by as many people as possible.
Absolutely marvelous nonprofit organization!!!! Great job done for so many years with devotion and love and care for the fixes!!
U guys are great, helping innocent lives! Taking care of them all well and good without any fuss, you guys deserve more.. it's looks like one big family out there, keep up save a fox family!!
Besides the amazing work they do rescuing and fostering unfortunate animals, SaveAFox Corporation does a tremendous job of educating the public about the plight of foxes.
Prior to watching their videos on YouTube, I knew next to nothing about these mistreated and ill-used animals.
I also happen to know that a lot of young kids love watching the videos -- not least because of Finnegan, the laughing red fox. Thus, SaveAFox's contributions to worldwide childhood education are not inconsequential. They make learning about animals fun -- both for kids as well as adults.
This organization helped me to understand foxes (and other animals) so much better. I used to be afraid of them, thinking they were rabid and vicious, but now I see them differently because of the way this organization educates. We respect wild animals in our house, but we no longer fear them. Donating to the organization through their YouTube channel has been well worth it. We learn so much and, if you love animals, you’re going to love Finnegan. He’s the best part of Fridays.
This rescue has touched our entire family's hearts! I share with my children and grandchildren. We have learned so much about foxes that we never knew! This is a non-profit I can put my support behind.
Hi, my name is Jakub "KEX CZ" V., and Iam following the Save A Fox for about a year and a half now, only thing I regret about doing so is, that I started to watch them so late. That's right, there is nothing bad I could write about them. Not only Mikayla Reines, Ethan and other volunteers are doing a great job which is good for all the animals that would suffer otherwise, It is also so good to just come after a long day and see some of their video or post! It really makes you feel better, especially when you love foxes as much as I do! :D . Since then, I've learned new stuff about foxes as well, and its just so good "relax" thing to do :3. As for now, I do follow them everywhere, and hopefully, soon, I can donate something too, because despite how it is all great, they would not survive without all the support SAF fans can provide. Things like food, meds, vet bills and so on, that all really piles up when you have so many animals to take care for, not to mention all the new ones coming each year. Those are usually small, poor pups/ kits / cubs, which need help, thus they take them in to the care, which is so nice of them. Because of all those reasons meantioned above, I believe that SAF is one of the greatest non-profits out there, with a ton of greatness to it, such as when you watch Finnegan and other foxes do their craziness each day! :D.
Saveafox is making a change in the world giving a second chance to foxes rescuing them from fox farms. Their work is beautiful ♥
My family is currently sponsoring one of their minks. We visited recently. All of the animals there are so well cared for! Each one has an environment that provides enrichment as well as shelter and safety.
Having watched the SaveAFox videos over many years, I am always astonished at the dedication and effort the owners put into their conservation and rescue programme. These videos provide great entertainment for the viewer, while at the same time demonstrating how a well run wildlife conservation facility should function.
They are selfless, hard working good people with never ending empathy and dedication to the animals. They have a great educational foster programme too. All this with heart warming Youtube content to warm all our hearts.
Saveafox is an amazing animal rescue charity. Their love and concern for the animals is outstanding. They do a wonderful work.
They do a wonderful job saving adorable, loving animals and providing them with a home, great care, and everything they need for a good life.
Mikyla and Ethan are superhumans. The way they take care of the foxes, just as their own children, is just so wholesome and heartwarming. Kudos to their good work and pure care & dedication towards the foxes. Saveafox is indeed what it says. Also, Finn is everyone favourite, i absolutely love that true gentleman. He is so wholesome and enjoyable to be and chill with. Cool Wishes (since it's summer)
~Shubham
The team at Saveafox don't try to sensationalize or dramatize or sentimentalize the plight of foxes at fur farms, they present the reality and find a way to work with the farms wherever possible to give as many rescues a better life as possible. Because of their educational and heartwarming videos, I've donated several times to help, and have purchased merchandise, including a calendar, stickers and shirts, in support. Because of the calendar and YouTube videos, seeing foxes named and taken care of and learning tricks (like our cats have), knowing their names, recognizing humans and showing joy, my partner is now invested in what happens at Saveafox. Given that he grew up in a hunting / farming family in Montana and saw foxes as vermin, Saveafox are literally changing worldviews.
Seeing all those cute foxes that are in a safe place brightens my day the countless foxes that they have saved from fur farms makes me so happy
I wait for each vlog from Save a Fox. They show us the good times with the foxes having fun but also the sad times when they rescue foxes from fur farms and the foxes are hurt. We laugh at the antics of the foxes be it chasing each other playing and cry when one of them passes away.
I have donated to Save a Fox, I have bought Tshirts and sweatshirts from them & get questions about Save a Fox and I’ll will explain what they do. Mikayla, Ethan, Merry and the entire staff & volunteers are great
I have been watching the Saveafox youtube videos for quite some time and it is clear they operate a wonderful, caring and informed facility that helps to educate as well.
This organization not only helps foxes and other captive rescue animals out of life-threatening situations, but also gives them a lovely place to live! On top of that they post their daily experiences on social media for the public (me and their other YouTube subscribers ) to see. This helps add joy to the lives of a lot of SaveAFox fans, and encourages respect for foxes and all wildlife.
Saveafox is such an incredible nonprofit and you can see for yourself how much Mikayla and everyone who volunteers there care about the animals. Not only are they saving these incredible foxes, they also do a great job advocating for animals and spreading awareness on this great cause!
Didn't know fur farms were a thing still and I'm disgusted by them, glad that Mikayla at save a fox is doing such an amazing job saving all these cute fox babies
Fur farming is legal in America. Mink and Foxes are left in tiny wire cages, sometimes chewing off their tails and limbs out of stress before being culled for their fat or fur. SAF rescues the fur farm rejects and also fox & mink pet surrenders. SAF touched the country during the isolation of the pandemic with heart warming YouTube videos of their resident foxes and mink. Folks learned about fox & mink behavior and saw how closely Mikayla and the SAF team work to care for their residents. Videos went viral and millions of views later, SAF has been able to increase their rescue capacity & locations to rescue more captive bred fox and mink. Their work is integral, not only for the animals who are rescued but also to advocate for the end of fur farming in America. I’ve been personally uplifted by their short and funny videos on YouTube and proudly wear their tshirts to promote curiosity and education of such an underrepresented animal population in farm to factory production. SAF is a phenomenal non-profit and worth a follow on social media!
SaveAFox is such an inspirational & educational organization! I'm a whistleblower federal investigator blasting Epsteins partners-in-crime & their crimes against humanity. Which, I now know, includes all creatures due to industrial farming & fur farms, for starters. They're so inspiring.
I'm not sure my first review went through so dont mean to do it twice.
Save a fox is my favorite YouTube channel. Watching the playful, energetic foxes really raises my spirits every time! I learn so much from it to. I had no idea there were so many different kinds and colors of foxes and the cute 'hehe" sounds they make. It's good that the owners show us the fun and the hard work so we can see what a big responsibility it is to care for foxes. That way people will think hard before adopting, and they really know what they're getting themselves into. I think the owners do a great job. It's funny, I think of Finnigan Fox and Dixie and all the foxes every day and can't wait to check in on them!
SaveaFox has been unbelievable in enlightening me and my family about the plight of injured foxes. Also the work they do with saving foxes from fur farms while heartbreaking to see gives us all hope that there are people who have empathy for all animals.
For me, it all started with a fox named Finnegan. I was looking for something but I found this video about a fox that laughs. I was having a very hard day and was depressed. I clicked the video and watched with delight a young lady named Mikayla petting her fox. I had never heard that foxes could laugh, so I had to see it. Finnegan laughed throughout the entire video and my spirit lifted. So I decided to check this channel out.
I found out that SaveAFox is a non-profit about rescuing foxes from fur farms and foxes that are no longer wanted as pets. I started following the channel. I have seen many foxes rescued since I started watching. These foxes were saved from a local fur farm with a very small number being pet surrenders.
At the fur farm, the conditions for the foxes are grim. They live in a small metal cage where they are supposed to get big enough to have their fur "harvested". Mikayla and the SaveAFox volunteers save these foxes and rehabilitate them. Some had never even felt grass under their feet. They have never had the chance to have much interaction with humans. They have never been loved. They are taken to SaveAFox and given a new life, a happy life. They get a life that is far more than a small wire cage. They are loved.
The new foxes learn to see people as caregivers and learn that life is more than just growing big enough to be skinned. SaveAFox saves these foxes and even provides them the chance to be adopted by loving, caring people.
SaveAFox saves foxes, but also other animals like mink, horses, coyotes, cats, and even dogs. Mikayla and her staff give all the animals a new life where they are loved. They have fun and they all know that nothing will hurt them and they are safe. The fans of the SaveAFox often donate toys and treats, which the foxes love. They flourish at SaveAFox.
I follow the channel and contribute with a monthly donation. I plan on visiting SaveAFox someday because my days are made brighter just by watching a video. I recommend watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yMRZ55uw9k a Finnegan hehe a day keeps the depression away or https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GegN_AXWWqc Dixie steals my phone and tries to bury it. These videos are some of my favorites.
SaveAFox is a nonprofit that, in reality, saves more than foxes. It has given me brighter days. It has given me a chance to help these animals. And they, in return, have helped me.
I've been following Saveafox for a long time now. I'm so impressed by the way they rehabilitate the foxes. They have a ton of love for these animals and it shows. The foxes themselves are so much better off than before. To watch them grow and play is so wonderful. I've learned so much about foxes that I didn't know before. I'm thankful for organizations like these.
I discovered Save A Fox through a viral video. I subscribed expecting to see similar hijinks, but was pleasantly surprised by what I found. This rescue has done amazing work to educate the public about captive bred foxes and why they can't be released into the wild, exposing fur farms for their disgusting practices, and sharing not only the lives of the foxes in the property - but fellow wildlife rescues that they work with. Every videos is a pleasure to watch.
I've helped raise foxes at a nonprofit in Georgia, where I fell in love with them. I've been following Saveafox for years and admire tremendously what Mikayla has built. I hope to meet her and Finnegan someday!
Such a great idea to help support and educate people on animals without disrupting their healthy shelter environment
I have been following Michaela Raines since before she started save a fox rescue. She takes excellent care of her foxes and other critters. She does a great job, educating her followers about these animals, their needs, and what they must do if they want to adopt one. She has grown the rescue from nothing to what it is today taking care of many animals and sharing her experiences with those of us who are interested in supporting her. Now she has her husband, Ethan, to help. They are both wonderful, caring people. I have been a supporter since she started save a fox rescue . I feel my monthly donation is out to good use.
They go above and beyond giving out information about foxes. They have inspired me to to help more foxes and help shut down breeding that puts foxes in tiny cages.
This corporation not only saves many animals from abuse and horrid conditions, but also brightens our days. I believe they are a true inspiration to be a little kinder.
Amazing group of people that care for the animals and their environments. They give constant updates regarding everything that's happening with all animals in their care. Vet check ups are taken care of for all health needs according to each specific animal. They even to little holiday treats each year. Over all very passionate group of people that believe in what they do and one of the most positive nonprofit groups that I gladly support. I hope that they are given true consideration for this honor. Thank you for you time, effort and consideration. Have a good day.
Stumbled across them during the early days of the pandemic and seeing saved animals living their best lives really soothed.
So not only do they save animals, the personalities and escapades of said animals (who shouldn't need to be rescued) has a comforting effect on us, the viewers. I've seen multiple comments to the extent of 'had a hard day, this really cheered me up'. And can vouch for that personally.
The work they do with Foxes is inspirational. The love and care they provide to these wonderful creatures is an example to be followed by all.
This is one of the most amazing non profit rescues I’ve seen! They’re incredibly dedicated and their love for the animals is visible through every video, picture, post. Save a Fox is awesome!
They seem to be very gentle and caring of the foxes, providing them with the perfect suitable environment and whatever they need! always showering them with the love they deserve and the videos makes the audience's day better as well!! couldnt imagine a more gentle, loving, care-giving organization. they give the foxes with the love and care they need plus more!
Save a Fox is AWESOME. Because of their outreach I am so much more aware of issues facing foxes and how to help them. Everything from rescues, to the fur industry, to veterinary care and what foxes need to thrive. And their personalities!! It's my pleasure to support their work and to expand awareness of them to everyone I know.
I came to their Youtube channel knowing nothing about fur farms and what it takes to take care of and to protect these animals. They are doing great (and necessary) work that allows these beautiful creatures to thrive.
Save a fox rescue is absolutely amazing, transparent and so responsible with taking care of their rescues!!! If I won the lottery they would too!! I do not trust easily when it comes to animal welfare… and I trust save a fox rescue. I am honored to sponsor Pan!!!
I can see on her You tube channel she is very kind to the Foxes in her care. They're all very well taken care of and so glad there are people like herself that is out there doing this great work helping and rescuing these poor sweet mistreated foxes and other animals too!
The work, time, care, and love that Saveafox does is really beyond compare. They're not just saving animals, they're giving them a safe and well deserved life.
These people work hard and do amazing work to take care of rescued foxes and other animals. They post videos and photos online to keep us updated on the lives of the animals that live there, you get the feeling that you are involved. Donors get special pictures of their donored fox, sometimes they also give some small presents like calendars. I love watching these guys and their animals, it's beautiful to see and I learn alot from them.
I found you on YouTube once and man my life has changed since then. I started to follow my desires and all the broken peaces of my life has finally became falling in place and peace out a picture. I was overfound with joy from your videos during the time. I got together with my love and we kinda made a symolism for ourselves like Who would be our spirit animal and I found out that I would be a wolf and she would be a fox and ever since than we fell in love with the idea as we did with ourselves. Before this I found Crane Wives and my soon to be favorite album called foxlore so there I found my love for the foxes I never would have thought I would fell in love with that animal and also my woman Who would have a spirit animal as a fox so in long story short I stumbled apon your channel during the thoughest of Times and foxes and wolves this symbolism and the pre joy from your videos made a memory that will Last hopefully forever as the time that my life became what I allways wanted it to be.Yes it is not yet there but there is the whole future for it deffinetly more stragles are coming but without them life would be boring I guess. So thank you so much for everything and for all the Hard work that you all do at Save a fox to keep the animals safe a takeing care with the most love I seen in a while thank you again. Sorry for bad spelling but I am writing this quick and also English is not my primary language but I am quite comfortable to speak with it. Much love take care you all :)
I've only interracted with SaveAFox through their social media but I can tell that they're very knowledgeable on taking care of the animals they house and they make no compromise when it comes to their living conditions and the adoption process for the animals that get adopted. All of the foxes, minks and other animals look very happy and the staff cares about all of them on a personal level. One of their foxes that passed away maybe a year ago was named Mouse and had a genetic condition that was very common in her colour variation, and she was the first fox to ever be trated with stem cells thanks to the efforts of the SaveAFox team. Thought her condition worsened and she had to be put down, she still lived a happy and longer than expected life. I've learned a lot about wildlife thanks to the content the SaveAFox team puts on social media and seeing the foxes happy always make me smile.
Amazing nonprofit devoted to saving and rehabilitating captive non-releasable foxes. For example, ex-fur farm foxes, pet surrenders etc. The work of Mikayla, Ethan & Co has been popularised on their SaveAFox Youtube channel with many great videos showing the love and care and great outdoor facilities their foxes enjoy.
While I've never had the opportunity to work with save a fox, I have been following this wonderful organization on YouTube for a few years now. My two young girls and myself absolutely love watching the videos on a regular basis. It's absolutely amazing what Mikayla and her staff have been able to accomplish. They save innocent animal lives on a regular basis. They have given so many foxes and other animals the opportunity to live their best lives. The animals at SAF are happy and healthy thanks to the efforts of the organization. And the education about all of the care that has to occur in order to make these animals happy is enlightening and enjoyable to learn about. I have learned so much about foxes and minks from these videos, and for that I am very grateful. I hope that the SAF organization can continue on for many, many more years.
Save A Fox does great work allowing captive bred animals to live fulfilling lives in peace. Their videos are informative, cute, funny, and also highlight the reality of rescue work. It is always a pleasure to see animals that would have been killed living happy, peaceful lives like they deserve; and Save A Fox makes that happen.
Before I saw their channel, I loved dogs and cats, but they showed me that the love of animals of Universal and mysteriously beautiful.
As a donor to Saveafox, I have to say they're doing some of the greatest work I have ever seen, saving animals from cruel lives and giving them the best years of their lives in absence of being able to survive in the wild. The fact that they put up with the 24/7 work that goes into caring for these assortment of animals including all the trials and tribulations that never make it to YouTube makes me proud to contribute to their continued work.
Save a Fox is amazing! The love and the care that this non-profit gives to saving the fox community is beyond heart warming! But most importantly the education that Save a Fox is getting out to people like me who had no idea that things like fur farms existed is immensely important and they deserve the recognition for all their hard work.
Wonderful people and place. The love and work the staff put in to help these incredible animals is immense.
I found SaveaFox early in lockdown. Watching Mikayla work her magic with the foxes has been inspiring. I think Saveafox may have saved my sanity since 2020.
Mikayla has a unique gift for understanding these creatures' personality and temperament and needs. She shares important information about the inhumane cruelty of fur farms.
She does the difficult work of going into the fur farm among all those innocent, suffering individuals, to rescue "poor quality fur" animals released by the fur farmer. She has a good working relationship with the fur farmers, and this is vital to her goal of saving 'damaged' and un-pelted individuals from being killed. Saveafox regularly posts important information about foxes and the intricate workings of her non-profit.
Saveafox is constantly upgrading their facility to provide enrichment for all their animals. SaveaFox provides medical care, socialization, training and enrichment to these once-suffering animals. They also accept surrendered exotic pets to nurse back to health for re-homing. Mikayla has rescued several non-fox souls; such as horses, a lonely coyote, a few home-needing minks and a surrendered skunk. Each animal gets her full attention and medical care to prepare for their great life. They've detailed the spontaneous inspections they get by numerous regulating authorities, and how diligently they work to keep Saveafox above and beyond the requirements. Their work is 24/7 as they respond to the needs of every animal without regard to their own sleep or meal schedule. Their animals come first. It is evident that SaveaFox is uppermost every day.
They work with numerous Animal Sanctuaries to re-home these individuals; or with carefully screened private adopters to give a rescued fox a home. I appreciate the posts about Fox biology, and Fox history, and the difference between domestic foxes and wild foxes.
I watch some Saveafox almost every day. Their outreach and social media presence is amazing. I signed up for their YouTube channel - another way to support them - so I can tune in to their 'special content' for subscribers. I've enjoyed purchasing their Fox Merch for myself and as gifts. I've participated in their contests and surveys and I've responded to their call for naming a new baby animal.
Their hundreds of videos seem to address ME as they make me feel like I'm part of their work when I watch or when I donate.
I've made them a beneficiary in my estate plan.
Until then, I donate regularly to SaveaFox.
I feel blessed to know there are such good people
As this in the world. It uplifts a weary soul to see their work.
I discovered Save a Fox through social media a couple years ago. I wanted to start my own animal sanctuary after college but had no idea how to go about it, or even what that looked like. Being able to follow and watch the Save a Fox videos have taught me so much and furthered my confidence in pursuing my dream goal of saving more animals in need. I hope to one day visit the Save a Fox animal Sanctuary when I am visiting that part of the country.
During Covid lockdown, I browsed a lot on facebook and youtube. Looking for animal stories and pictures for pleasant distraction, I came across Save A Fox. It immediately caught my interest and attention. The rescue foxes were delightful, beautiful animals with distinct personalities. The laughter of Finnegan Fox as she played with him brightened the fearful days. I came to know each fox by name, and looked forward every day to Mikayla Raines' posts. She educated viewers about the grim reality of continued fur farming. She showed endless devotion to rescuing those animals whenever she could, and giving them safe and good lives. Many hours of work are involved every day, for the foxes and the many other animals she and her staff cared for. Her rescue has inspired others. The pandemic has eased, but in a world of war and woe, Save a Fox gives continual joy and shows there are still good people who love and care for innocent animals.
This organization is SAVING THE FOXES! I cannot believe fur farms are still legal in the US. This non profit is doing the hard work. They are doing work that would otherwise be unnoticed. Please select SaveaFox.
Save a Fox is the absolute best when it comes to caring for these types of animals. They always brighten my day and deserve to be recognized.
The dedication and heart that goes into Saveafox is so evident, you only need to watch a couple of their YouTube videos to see for yourself. I hope they realize how important and meaningful it is to others when they share their work and the animals on social media. It's important because people can get a glimpse into these animals lives, and even be part of their lives in a way that would otherwise never be possible. Humans and animals can connect with each other without ever even meeting in person! Understanding and connection is how we will all be happy and safe on this beautiful planet, and that's exactly what you get with Saveafox!
Save a Fox brings a smile to my face with every post, video and picture they share.
The love and commitment they have for the animals they rescue is inspiring and a reminder about the right every animal in the world has to live a life marked by dignity and respect.
I began watching SaveaFox videos while in Covid lockdown. I can't begin to describe the joy that these foxy characters brought to me in Mikala's magical videos. I came to know each fox as individuals: their likes and dislikes, their relationships w/ their human caretakers and other foxes, and all about, unfortunately, the reality of fox fur farms and pet surrenders. I have never seen such dedicated caretakers as Mikala, Nathan and her staff and they have done an unprecedented job caring for their foxy wards, educating others on fox caretaking and health issues, and the harsh realities these wonderful creatures face. I would really appreciate it if you could help this nonprofit as i think people should learn what wonderful animals foxes are and your patronage could help raise their profile.
Save a Fox does amazing work in rescuing, raising, healing and rehoming many different sorts of animals, many of which wouldn't have a chance to live a normal, happy life. Truly wonderful people.
What they do for the foxes is just absolutely incredible!! So much love is poured into SaveaFox and I wish there were more people like them in this world.
I love how Save a Fox is not just limited to foxes. Their videos bring you into how they manage to do such fantastic work. And you will fall in love with all the critters and their antics!
Very Few Organizations are like Saveafox Corporation. They have educated me about the horrors of the fur farm industry and do a great work in rescuing the few lucky ones from the fur farms. They also take care of numerous foxes in their sanctuary and an extra hand on help is always appreciated. God Bless❤️
They are amazing people saving foxes from fur farms and other animals that need shelter and care. I mostly see their work online (through YouTube and Instagram) and it is always delightful to see how happy are the animals in their small sanctuary! Really hope that they will find more funding to help even more animals ❤
Not just entertainment, but inspirational and educational as well. As a retired wildlife biologist, I enjoy all the light-hearted antics of the foxes. The dedicated staff is phenominal.
Watching save a fox has helped my mental health and added happiness to my life, especially over lockdown when I was very isolated. Seeing these videos have eased the feeling of isolation and prevented deep depression setting in.
You should see the lengths Makayla and her friend go through at Save-A-Fox to rescue animals of all kinds. She takes them to the local veterinarian. She takes the ones with only three legs. She takes trips to rescue other foxes or transfer foxes. It's not just foxes, either. Everyone cannot do this kind of work, but I think her organization--Save-A-Fox, is a good place for vulnerable animals.

They are doing everything they can to make sure the animals are well feed and cared for. Absolutely beautiful.
Excellent care and facility are brilliantly done on their YouTube channel! Lots of genuine love shown for these animals!
A truly noble nonprofit. Without them, generations of innocent foxes would have no home and would probably have never survived.
So much love and care for animals. Truly amazing. We need more people like these in the world. They are making a difference and have helped so many animals.
I'm in far south central MN. last spring I found a rabid baby fox, not getting anywhere with my LOCAL authorities, I remembered Save a Fox, ( I was already a subscriber) I reached out and had a response immediately back from Save a Fox. Unfortunately the little guy passed, but I did sit in the ditch with him so he was not alone and took his body to the local vet knowing he was rabid. Thankyou SAVE A FOX, YOUR AWSOME!!!
One of the only reasons I successfully got through the worldwide pandemic, Finnegan The Laughing Fox, Mikaela and the gang were a powerful force, and remain a powerful force for good, and deserve to be recognised and supported worldwide...I'm from Glasgow, Scotland
I love what these people do for rescued foxes. Especially how professional the place looks like. Every fox has a lot of space and if they are willing a friend in there 'home'.
Saveafox Corporation has become one of my favorite nonprofits of all time. The love the people who run it feel for the foxes and other critters is contagious. They not only help with our understanding of the foxes but they make it fun too. I've learned a lot about foxes and the natural world in general from following Saveafox on Facebook.
I am an avid follower of this nonprofit on Facebook. This rescue group was started by one young woman, Mikayla Raines, who realized there was a need to take care of foxes that were adopted and subsequently discarded by their human guardians as well as fur farm foxes discarded by the farms for flaws in their fur. In both cases these foxes would have ended up being euthanized. Save A Fox not only rescues these unwanted animals, rehabilitates, provides vet care and affection for them, but arranges for adoptions and sponsorships, works with other rescue groups to extend the range of their activities (have opened a second rescue site in south Florida). They have extended the range of rescues from foxes to minks and cats and squirrels and coyotes and horses. They also provide daily updates to all of the people who love and support these wonderful animals and help to promote awareness of their plight. I believe this nonprofit definitely deserves to be recognized as a standout in its community and in the US.
To save a species so despised, so hated, hunted, and killed for a bounty, is an act of pure love. It is a calling few are drawn to. This organization saves foxes from the fur farms, where they are raised in cages until they are "harvested" for their skins. By doing so they have shown foxes are diverse loving creatures, far from dog like, smart, clever and worthy of respect. No one can hear their "huff, huff, huff" in response to a rubbed belly, and not know they are as fully capable of affection, pride and fear as any "pet", but independent and insistent on remaining so. SAVEAFOX is a nonprofit which deserves to survive because it asks for so little, just as the foxes in their compounds around the country deserve to survive.
This is a wonderful profit that goes out of their way to save and raise ok r rehome so many lives from fur farms and dangerous situations. They truly deserve our praise and support.
Honestly such a loving and fantastic nonprofit solely dedicated to the caring of furfarm foxes who cannot be released back into the wild. This organisation deserves all of the support and praise it gets, they are funded solely through donations from members of the public and yet run such a big operation. I can't recall them ever taking a day off ever, caring for dozens of foxes is a full-time job that demands constant work and i have nothing but the upmost respect for the two lovely people who run SaveAFox (Plus all of the hard working volunteers!) .
SaveAFox (SAF) has been a joy for me for several years now. Once one learns about how captive bred foxes live at the fur farms and the bad breeding/genetics that ensue, one can’t help root for SaveAFox and their network of sanctuaries.
My story with SAF begins with an old blind Arctic Fox named “Archie” who lived out his best days because of people like Mikayla. When Archie had no other Arctics to be with and was not relating well to the other red foxes, Mikayla did the right thing and transferred “Archie” to Kim at the Arctic Fox Daily Rescue and Sanctuary in NY… Archie joined Arctic foxes: “Toto” and “LuLu” the other Arctics in residence. Kim, had hope to find a new boyfriend for the younger LuLu, but it was the older fox (Toto) that Archie took a liking to… two aging foxes living out their best years, together. When Toto came down with Cancer and was being pestered by flies, I and other community members chipped in and raised money for an outdoor shed that was transformed into “Casa de Toto”…. And Toto got to get away from the insects and Archie joined him as a bunkmate… They really got along well… we lost both Toto and Archie to cancer last year. It was a true joy watching Archie for a brief time come out of his shell and bond with Toto… on the YouTube Fox channel. Archie got to be a fox again and have the run of a fox yard…. And when Archie couldn’t find his way back to his enclosure, Kim would just scoop up the big marshmallow and put him to bed in “Casa De Toto”.
…. And, it all began with SaveAFox…The experience, led me to become a sponsor for another Arctic Fox, “Ianto”… who came from SAF….I keep him well supplied with “Fruitees” and other treats… all because of Mikayla at SAF and also Kim at Arctic Fox Daily; they have a wonderful community… they all know each other. And SaveAFox seems to be ****the hub
**** of that community.

Saveafox is one of the only charities I contribute too. I love foxes and I follow many different ones but I feel this one gives the best care to their rescues and works hard to continue to rescue more from fur farms! They do amazing work and I am forever in support of their mission!
SaveAFox is all about an extraordinarily demanding success story. Starting in a shed with no power. they've turned into a benchmark organization. They're networking with other rescues, providing critical core information for the public, and doing the full spectrum rescue work required for a compliant non-profit. The sheer scale of veterinary "due diligence" work is staggering and runs like clockwork.
This is the true 24/7/365 animal rescue at work. It's hard labor as much as care. Blizzards don't get in the way. The mix of love, hard work, and humor is truly outstanding. Add to this the realistic media work showing the true nature of working with rescues, sick animals, and sarcastic, happy, moody, fun-loving foxes, and you have a truly exemplary rescue.

SaveAFox is an amazing organization. They started to address an issue long needed. Saving foxes from fur farms that would eventually be killed for no other reason than they did not have the right fur or were injured. The amazing work they do because humans put a need for them to be there. I highly recommend their organization as one of kindness and help to these wonderful creatures. All animals deserve kindness and they provide that. Thank goodness for them.
Inspiring advocacy. Their candid videos with their rescued animals showcases the beauty of life away from the commodification of animal fur. The heehees of foxes like Finnegan, Dixie, Ruby etc. will forever inspire me to advocate against the continued existence of fur farms.
Save a fox what better non profit is there nothing but helping fox’s and other animals great people that own it and all the great volunteers
Wonderful organization! Great foxes! Have been a great source of education about foxes, fur farms and care needed to own a Fox.
Very informative great content on their mission, how they rescue, why and many of the day to day routine tasks to care for the rescues this is my favorite non profit rescue
The Savafox corporation selflessly and wholeheartedly cares for these amazing animals with great efforts ! You can see the contentment in these well loved foxes and through their heartwarming interactions with the care givers. These foxes deserve to live out their lives happy and healthy and that is exactly what Savafox is doing! ♥️♥️♥️
I love save a fox! Everyone there has such a big heart amd the beautiful animals they give a second chance to is absolutely amazing. I donate when I can to them. I love foxes ! Save afox is a wonderful place. Save a fox has shared so many facts and education. Keep up the awesome work!
Saveafox is an amazing corporation that takes really good care of their animals and gives them a second chance at a good life.
SaveAFox is a great nonprofit organization that helps fur farm foxes. They do awesome work! I love all the foxes, especially Finnegan Fox, who has an infectious laugh.
Finnegan fox and friends have given myself and my partner no end of joy (and a calendar too!)
We love the videos they put out about their extended fuzzy family for a number of reasons. Firstly, it is delightful to see rescued animals thriving in a beautiful environment for them. Secondly we enjoy seeing the various enrichment activities and/or foods that are given to the animals. And thirdly we enjoy learning about the animals themselves, both as an example of their species and as individual critters.
The amount of content they put out to educate and entertain is wonderful and, as upsetting as it is, the rescues they take from the fur farms (and the spotlight they shine on that industry) are important. It is always a good day when they upload a video, launch a product or just keep on keeping on.
Well organised non-profit facility for foxes, where all animals are treated with love and uttermost care. It has been a pleasure to donate and watch all the beautiful animals being provided proper care in a safe environment, with their individual needs considered and taken care of. They also post videos with loads of information about foxes, what is important for them and how to make sure it gets the right food, attention and enrichment. Very important and helpful information.
I will gladly continue supporting it.
Save a Fox does an incredible amount of work as a non profit foundation. Saving foxes from fur farms and giving them a new life. It's an incredible foundation and I praise Mikayla, Ethan and the Save a Fox team for all their hard work!
Savea Fox is Very informative site, always have fun videos on all the animals and how they save the beautiful baby foxes from the fur farm, and I actually got to see funny at a tractor supply exhibit in Riverside, ca. I went on my lunch break just to catch a view and it was awesome

This nonprofit is so caring for the animals they rescue. You can see how loved and well taken care of they are. They truly are the best! The foxes look so happy and are saved from being killed in those awful fur farms. I love and support them!
SAF works tirelessly to rescue various animals, but most especially foxes, and those from fur farms, which are sadly still legal in the U.S. These animals are kept in terrible conditions, where no animal is allowed to put its feet on the ground and touch grass. All for style. Mother foxes, under stress, often chew the tails of their kits completely off, rendering the fur unusable by the farmer. This is one of the ways SAF is able to rescue kits from certain death. We have followed them for several years now, learning all about the insane amount of time and effort that goes into the work they do. Just seeing these foxes go from frightened babies to happy loving animals able to run free in the grass makes me so happy. Mikalya and Ethan, and all the workers and volunteers at SAF are blessings to the foxes, and to other rescues they have. My experience with this non-profit? Joy at seeing animals be what they were meant to be.
I follow the SAVEAFOX rescue online. I see all the fox rescues made by Mikayla Raines, her husband Ethan, and others that volunteer at the site in Minnesota. She rescues foxes from fur farms, from people who get foxes as pets, but then realize they can’t take care of them. The rescue takes them to the vet. They also take some of the rescues to other rescues in Florida and other places. They love the foxes and we as viewers love what SAVEAFOX does to help these animals.
I have volunteered here four times so far, and I can share first hand how incredibly well these animals are taken care of and loved on every single day. The food they eat is high quality, they have huge open spaces to run freely in, and they are kept safe at night. Another huge indicator of how wonderful Save A Fox is, is the longevity of their volunteers. Many have been there for 5 years or longer. And they’re always there when a rescue needs to happen. Save A Fox was instrumental in rescuing numerous animals from a horrific hoarding situation a while back. This place is absolutely Heaven on Earth for animals and humans who love them.
I have been following Saveafox rescue for a few years. She has saved so many foxes and works with other organizations to help the save more. She is positive and very open about what it takes for people to own a fox.
Saveafox is so inspirational to me. Stories of their compassion, dedication and determination to save foxes from heartbreaking and awful situations brightens everyday for me. It takes courage and a determined heart to save these precious animals. The volunteers are an awesome group of people, with love in their hearts. Just wish I lived close enough to help them. It is most definitely a group deserving of support and appreciation.
This sweet little fluffnugget is Mistress Houdini Floofala... her fans simply call her Floofala.
I have watched her ever since she was rescued two years ago. She was affectionately dubbed "Stinky" after she was found wading through the waste, of other foxes, after escaping her cage. She was just a tiny baby but, that fur farmer needed to get rid of her and Save A Fox was there! Stinky found a home just like so many other animals. Foxes, mink, ferrets, coyotes, horses, deaf dogs, abandoned kittens and most recently, Black Backed Jackals have all found a safe haven at Save a Fox. If they cannot stay permanently, they are found safe loving homes.
The operators of this refuge are hard working and selfless. I know that anything, that I donate, is put to good use and, I get to see their good works every day through their video and photographic posts.
I love Save A Fox and, the beautiful creatures that they Save.
Saveafox goes above and beyond to help the animals in their care. They also provide excellent education to the public about fox behavior and their special care needs via their social media platforms.
I love the knowledge that I'm supporting well cared for animals and that Saveafox posts often on their social media so I get to see them!
I love this charity and the foxes and animals they save! They raise so much awareness for animals especially ones saved from cruel fur farms. I have a Finnegan Fox plushie and listen to him every night.
I can't express enough how grateful I am for the incredible work that SaveAFox non-profit does. Their dedication to educating people about foxes, wildlife, and the conservation efforts is truly commendable. As an avid animal lover, I have always been fascinated by foxes, and SaveAFox has been an invaluable resource in expanding my knowledge.
The organization's commitment to the well-being of these beautiful creatures is evident in everything they do. From rescuing injured and abandoned foxes to providing them with a safe and nurturing environment, SaveAFox goes above and beyond to ensure the best possible care for these animals.
What impresses me the most is their continuous effort to keep the public informed about the health and progress of the foxes under their care. Their transparency and regular updates on social media platforms and their website are incredibly insightful and heartwarming. It's truly inspiring to see the tireless dedication and passion of the staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to make a difference.
SaveAFox is not just an organization; it's a community that brings people together who share a common love and appreciation for these fascinating creatures. Through their educational initiatives, they are empowering individuals to become advocates for wildlife and conservation.
In a world where the future of wildlife is uncertain, SaveAFox stands as a shining example of hope and compassion. They are making a real difference in the lives of foxes and raising awareness about the importance of preserving our natural world.
I wholeheartedly recommend supporting SaveAFox and getting involved in any way possible. Whether it's through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading the word, every action counts in helping these incredible animals thrive. Together, we can ensure a brighter future for foxes and other wildlife.

This group does such a great service.... Rescuing foxes from Fur farms is a much needed type of assistance for those that can' not speak for them selves. These are beautiful animals and shouldn't be caged for their fur only. This group educates the public and helps with hands on training, medical assistance, and re-locating.
Great organization filled with genuinely compassionate people. Mikayla gave me some great advice when I had a sick wild fox visiting my property.
I keep updated on my I Pad what’s going on at Saveafox. I really enjoy seeing these beautiful creatures and the care and rescue they are given. I have contributed what I can on several occasions and will continue to do so. Your work is essential to the care of all animals. I do enjoy! Thank you!
Honest and sincere nonprofit that not only rescues foxes but celebrates living with them. Education is interesting and ongoing. You can see the sincerity in their work.
I believe in what they are doing. Saving beautiful animals from fur farms and senseless destruction. Moreover, it is nice to learn about their habitat and ways. Continue the great work.!
This organization is so wonderful! All the animals featured are real characters and makes me realize more and more the injustice to animals and the great effort to rescue them.
Their love and dedication to the animals in their care is commendable. They do their research, they spend a huge amount of time with them and give them so much love-and it's genuine.❤
I have been watching Saveafox for about 3 years now on Facebook. I love all the foxes and started sponsoring Finnegan fox about 8 months ago. I went to visit them from CA and got to meet Finnegan. I just love the foxes and the work founder Mikayla and Ethan are doing.
Great organization run by great people with a great cause! Wish all people knew of this amazing corporation!! I do everything in my power to support and spread their message.
This non-profit shows you what your donations are doing! They are saving animals in need... not just furfarm foxes but, so many other creatures.
Mikayla and her staff do a fantastic job in rescuing fox from the fur trade. These are animals that have been saved from death. They are raised in a humane, safe and long term way to protect these innocent animals. They are not wild animals and would die if put in the wild. These are also not domesticated animals. It is a fine balance to help these animals and require specific care which they receive from Save a Fox. This is the largest fox rescue in the country and they coordinate with other rescues throughout the country as well as provide support to other rescues in many ways. Mikayla, the owner, has dedicated her life to savings these beautiful creatures.
I have been following “Save A Fox” for about a year and just can’t say enough about the LOVE and Care they give their foxes! They work constantly assuring that the foxes have the very best food, the cleanest cages and the most exceptional activity’s to inspire mental stimulation! Ethan and Mykala go above and beyond for their foxes! They are great people and have the most darling foxes! They also explain a lot about foxes and their environments and habitats to the public. I never knew much about foxes period, until I found their website! They have really enlightened me to fox behaviors! I also never thought I could fall in love with foxes and I have because of Save A Fox!
Unfortunately, the legal fur farm industry and the exotic animal trade still exists in the USA. Fortunately for some of the foxes slated for a cruel ending or those surrendered by private owners, there's Mikayla Raines and her husband Ethan. Together they rescue and house foxes, minks, even a lone coyote! Their tremendous dedication to these animals is evident in their social media posts, which garner thousands of views, elevates one's mood and brings delight to whomever watches. Finnegan Fox is a SaveAFox favorite! Seeing him interact with Mikayla is joyful..his special laugh is like therapy for the soul. Together, Mikayla and Ethan recently opened SaveAFox South so that more captive-bred foxes may be saved. I can't say enough wonderful things about the entire organization! Their merchandise has always been of quality and good value. I look forward to seeing what happens next at this great nonprofit, SaveAFox!!
They do phenomenal work rescuing fur farm foxes, educating the public about foxes in the wild, foxes kept in captivity, and the temperament and suitability of foxes as pets.
Just awesome work.
I am so happy what Saveafox is doing for these sweet foxes and other animals they have rescued! I think it is horrible that there are fur farms in the world! I have made purchases from their store and sent small donations, but wish I could do much more to help this rescue! I have much respect and admiration for Mikayla for starting this rescue and devoting her and Ethan’s lives to help and care for them.
Saveafox Corporation is special in so many ways. But what I think sets it apart from the others is the level of communion that is shared with the general public. We get to see the foxes in all stages of their day and night and how well they are engaged with the owner Mikayla Raines. This level of sharing has saved a lot of folks from depression, loneliness and even PTSD by bringing so much joy to all of us! All you have to do is read the comments section of any SaveaFox social media account to see how they not just sharing animal videos but also helping people's lives for the better. I found Saveafox by chance and thank goodness I did! There are so many animal channels out there and then there is Save a Fox! They are one in a million!
SaveAFox is an excellent organization. They often post photos and videos of the foxes during play and rest. I feel like I know each fox by their personality. SaveAFox also provides useful information regarding foxes and their habitats. I would highly recommend SaveAFox to anyone who is looking for a fine sanctuary.
Watched them leverage every resource to the maximum to save these beautiful animals; creative and clever marketing; provides enrichment opportunities for the animals; helped new sanctuaries get established; doesn’t hesitate to take in new rescues even when resources are tight. Has a genuine love for foxes and exemplary ambassador and educator.
Non profit organisation is much appreciated as they care and concern for the welfare of the helpless, homeless and living things in need. They do not ask for anything in return as all donations are meant for donee. A non profit organisations for the saving of animals should be encouraged and supported as this world has done enough to them due to deforestation, global warming etc.
I found Save a Fox on Facebook and fell in love with the way Mikayla and Ethan interact with all of the animals. They are genuinely sincere about the work that they do and I love getting to know the foxes. Their videos are very entertaining, sweet, and informative. I hope I can visit some.
Such a wonderful and caring Rescue they are so good to every single box that comes through there this is definitely a five star rescue that cares very deeply about the species!
They are wonderful saving these poor foxes and giving them a fantastic life. The videos of the foxes and the interaction they have with them are always a joy to watch
They do important work and clearly care about the animals in their care. I know during the pandemic that their videos of the foxes really helped to lighten things up. It is hard to stay sad when a fox can laugh.
Began following in 2020. Awesome how these foxes are rescued. Sad that Fur Farms still exist. The mink are adorable. The different personalities, like and dislikes. I am hoping to visit sometime. I lived in SE Minnesota. Been in Iowa care taking. Just arrived back to Rochester, Minnesota. The compassion and love Save a Fox has for all animals are apparent. Veterinary bills are costly, if the care is needed, medical is provided.
We learn so much about foxes from the posts and videos. I love that they have cats and other animals that they have saved. The building projects are quality and they spend a lot of time with the animals. This is my charity of choice!
Haven't done any work personally with saveafox but I respect the work that they do in rescuing foxes from d
Fur farms
Save a fox is a great charity that helps to save foxes breed for the fur trade or pets.
They give the foxes an almost wild life and have lovely enclosures full of inrichment for the foxes which they use their natural skills to hunt and play.
I watch all the YouTube videos of the foxes, follow on Facebook for daily updates and buy things from the shop to donate money.
You can also sponsor a fox and receive things from them.
I am from the UK and I can't believe that in some USA states its fine to breed foxes to be killed for their fur. Often these foxes live in horrible conditions, seemingly neglited and abused. Its not right that this is allowed to happen. Foxes like all animals in this world need better rights and protection.
People also keep foxes as pets but they are not suitable for a home life and they don't behave like dogs or cats do no matter the training etc.
I am glad that places like save a fox existed because other wise foxes would just be abandoned and killed when they become unsuitable. Its great to see a fox saved then changing and becoming well in the environment save the fox provides for them.
I fell in love with this rescue a few years ago. The owner and volunteers are extremely nice. They give so much to these amazing animals and give them the life they dream of. Ever since I heard about the rescue I've been getting my volunteer stuff ready so I can help. The staff are very kind and so are the volunteers.!
I came across Save A Fox as my daughter developed a fear of foxes and I reached out for some assistance. Mikayla was so amazing in providing ideas, resources and kind words in helping my daughter. She even followed up a few weeks later to check in! Her compassion and love for foxes and the public is impeccable.
Saveafox is an outstanding organization! The beautiful sanctuary is safe and well-designed, clearly with each animal’s best interests in mind. The excellent care, attention, and enrichment these animals receive is obvious in their behavior. Somehow, beyond all of that, Saveafox also manages to use multiple avenues to educate, inspire, and advocate. The level of impact this nonprofit has is truly remarkable.
