Save the Waves does an incredible job of supporting coastal conservation with a focus on the surf zone. They have a myriad of programs focused on keeping existing beaches from development or exploitation and recently released a mobile app that allows the general public to report pollution and other issues in their area so that resources can be allocated for cleanups or other fixes. As a volunteer I’m consistently impressed by the professionalism and passion of everyone working at STW. If you care about coastal conservation, they are a wonderful organization to support.
