I have followed blog, spoken with members of the board, raised funds, followed the organization since inception, had lengthly conversations with Kelly and Dylan Coleman who run organization. I have reviewed. Hundreds of pictures and find that their way of working with the people in the villages in terms of sustainability is extremely efficient Nd productive. Their are no frills attached to this organization.

Causes: International, International Relief, Water
Mission: Every 15 seconds a child dies from lack of clean water. Save the Rain teaches water starved communities to use the rain as a sustainable water supply to stop these needless deaths. A mere $15.00 pays for a villager to receive water for the rest of their life & the life of their offspring.
Results: When access to clean water is compromised, survival becomes an everyday confrontation. But when it is your inspiration, the human potential is limitless. In just 4 short years, with billions of raindrops harvested, 165,000 people in 17 different African villages are now living with access to clean drinking water. With our assistance, systems have been built by the hands of local labor with materials from their local suppliers. Water is the circulatory system of life and connected to every aspect of it. These villages now know that if you save a raindrop – you can save a life.
Target demographics: Save the Rain has been working primarily in East Africa. Specifically Tanzania and Uganda.
Programs: Phase 1 Project: Community Wide Rain Catchment systems on village primary schools. Phase 2 Projects: Women's Water Initiative - complete 5,000 liter rainwater harvesting tank on their home.
