My husband and I started volunteering with STAF in 2003. Had we known that such a fantastic place existed, we'd have started years earlier! Every year we're involved with STAF, we develop a deeper appreciation and amazement for how smoothly and lovingly this shelter is run for the protection and care of its many hundreds of cat and dog residents. We are part of a volunteer force we are very proud to call our peers. STAF is committed to being a no-kill sanctuary for animals who would otherwise quickly meet their deaths at county facilities. We don't discriminate - we exist to provide hope and care for animals of all ages and infirmities. Our volunteers become very well-acquainted with our residents and develop expertise in pairing adopters with pets. STAF serves both the animal and human community around us by raising the bar for what homeless pets and hopeful companions can expect as humane and respectful treatment, and I am extremely privileged to be a part of this organization.

Save The Animals Foundation (STAF) is ran by dedicated, caring members. This is a no-kill shelter, pets that would otherwise be put down, are given a chance to live, love and be loved. For over twenty years, my 95-year old teacher has been feeding the cats at this shelter. I recently started helping her with the feedings. If you are looking for a new pet; or a place to donate your time or funds, you can be assured that STAF is a trusted place to do so.

I worked at a vet hospital for 8.5 years that works very closely with this no kill shelter. I began volunteering there on my days off after speaking with some of the other volunteers and getting to know them. I mostly came in and medicated cats, as they have many cats. This is an entire volunteer run organization and is Awesome! They do quite a nice job and I think they should be very proud of what they have accomplished in the way of helping cincinnati area pets. They don't turn away animals with medical or behavioral problems either and take excellent care of their residents.
