I became involved with this organization after thorough due diligence of the founder. My goal was to directly help protect wildlands for native plants, animals and future generations to enjoy. When you get involved at this level you can directly observe the effects of your involvement. This organization has saved almost 100 acres on the shore of Shadow Lake in King County WA. There are many more acres to save in this Jenkins Creek basin. We also are working to build a "green" spirit of the longhouse on a small portion of the non-wetland piece so the children can have a classroom and a place to learn about American Indian culture and customs. I believe that wildlands help children recover from adversity and gives them hope. Currently about 600 students visit as part of their school study program and we are working to accommodate more. We welcome contributions. Thank you.
