SCOOP is a small well-run and very dedicated group who has helped so many cats and kittens in dire straits. I have enjoyed volunteering for some of their fundraising events like Mardi Gras and yard sales.

SCOOP has been an amazing and staunch supporter of stray/feral cats and those who care for them. They have provided both direct and financial support to injured and sick animals, funded more than 1,500 spay/neuters, and provided excellent educational and consulting services for the community. SCOOP officials are in daily contact with community members, guiding and advising in a patient and compassionate manner. I believe they have been a model of active collaboration with many other rescue organizations, often finding unique solutions for groups that have overlapping objectives. Finally, SCOOP provides daily care for a large number of cats with chronic health conditions. I am extremely proud to have been an active member of this organization from the beginning.

I volunteer for the helpline and for fundraising. The nonprofit uses current research to provide the best direct care for stray and feral cats. They also help to educate interested citizens on the best care and feeding of cats who can survive in nature when appropriately aided. They provide a much needed service to both the cats and the community.

I can't recall how I first learned about SCOOP but I'm forever grateful I did. They have been very helpful when I first trapped, neuter and released by letting me borrow traps and showing me how to set them. And their knowledge of cats and cat care is unsurpassed...it comes from experience. SCOOP works tirelessly to help cats, the sick, injured, stray, feral, wounded, and tossed aside. It is an amazing organization.

So proud to be among such dedicated, hard-working, compassionate and passionate volunteers who see obstacles and limited resources as just challenges to be met. SCOOP cares for the cats who are sick, injured or abused with a belief that all feline lives are worthwhile--that they all deserve a chance. There are no vacation days when caring for special needs animals. Hospice care and the resulting heartbreak are integral parts. Eleven years now as a non-profit and going strong! With the support of community members who assist through donations of all different kinds, volunteers continue to persevere and work daily to fulfill SCOOP's mission.

SCOOP does a wonderfu, and much needed, job in Cincinnati. By generously helping cats like Sweetie, who suffer horrific abuse, they serve as an inspiration for shelters in our area. Adopt don't shop!

SCOOP volunteers helped trap in March, 2016, in Hamilton, OH, an injured stray, Sweetie, that I had been feeding for two months prior. Upon her missing a day, she returned with mouth injuries, unable to eat. I sought help, whereas other rescuers tried, she eluded them for 5 days, although she returned daily to me. The volunteers grouped together, caught her on March 23 and rushed her to a vet. SCOOP paid her medical care, extensive mouth surgery, helping save her life. The Pet Sanctuary cared non-stop for her, through her recovery and setbacks. The end of April, a surprise to all, she gave birth to a very small kitten, Jaax, that was bottle fed and didn't know if she'd survive, being Sweetie couldn't nurse her. Sweetie endured a follow up surgery on her mouth. Now, she is doing really well, and Jaax is small, but healthy kitten. If it wasn't for them, Sweetie may not be alive if another vet would have given her that chance. I can't thank them enough. They remain in SCOOPs care. They've also covered vet bills for an independent rescuer for injured/sick stray cats/kittens. Their service, albeit, a love to help animals, is a huge help in Butler County, as well.

I started following SCOOP when I heard about Gabe, the cancer warrior. He was a cat who was fighting cancer. Since that time, I have seen them help many many cats that others would turn away. They are a great rescue that go above and beyond to help cats in need.

SCOOP does a great job providing help to many cats that would otherwise be left behind. They support the stray and feral cat community with direct services such as vouches and funding to pay vet bills when a cat is injured. They are always will to provide advise and have helped get many cats adopted thru their
Facebook posts. They also provide community advocacy through the media. Their fundraisers bring the community together in fun ways that also provide much needed assistance when a cat is injured. I can't say enough good things about SCOOP and I am proud they are part of our Cincinnati community .

SCOOP has been involved in many aspects of rescuing cats. With their PALS program, anyone can get help trapping a cat. SCOOP has helped save many cats that would otherwise by euthanized simply by sharing info on facebook. They continue to be strong advocates and educators for every cat. It's a very compassionate group; I'm proud to be a part of their group.

SCOOP offers so much to the rescue community including spay/neuter vouchers, but more importantly information on every aspect of rescuing cats. No question is ever unanswered and the knowledge I have is because of my experience with SCOOP. I helped with a hugeTNR project and ended up fostering my first group of kittens. I have adopted a cat from them. I now volunteer with SCOOP to help others help cats. SCOOP works extremely well with other rescues because they realize it takes a community to care for all animals and every cat deserves a chance.
