Mission: Save-a-pet is a not-for-profit, no-kill shelter dedicated to finding loving, quality homes for each cat and dog in its care. The shelter strives to create an environment which enhances both awareness and support for the humane treatment of animals.
Programs: Operation of an animal shelter dedicated to the care and adoption of animals. Over 900 animals were cared for in 2017, with 754 cats and dogs being adopted to loving homes.
I believe that Save-a-Pet is a wonderful organization. I wanted to drop off my donation in person to see where my contribution was actually going. Well, you never know until you visit the facility; and I was relieved and happy after my surprise visit. All the cats and dogs look well cared for and the premises looks clean, and the staff was very friendly. If you are looking for a place to help animals, I think that Save-a-Pet is a great place to start.
