Causes: Community Improvement & Capacity Building
Mission: The exempt purpose of the organization is to provide a wide variety of educational materials/experiences to the general public in the form of written materials, community forums, workshops/conferences, and/or presentations. Grants are awarded to indiviuals and/or organizations whose publications, research, or presentations will provide educational products or services to/for the general public. Grant applicants must submit written proposals to the board of directors. No grants were awarded in 2015.
Programs: Provide gallery space for art exhibition programs to enable developing artists to present and sell artwork to the public with a portion of proceeds given to the organization.
acase(assn for the coop. Advancement of science & education) to develop new ways to assess students' understanding of scientific theories, and gives teachers better ways to assess student learning.
ace(upstate alliance for the creative economy)ace is working with cross- sector, geographically diverse individuals, private and public organizations, nonprofits, and community leadership to develop and implement programs that benefit the people, places, and creativity of the greater capital region.
