I have been volunteering in the Sarasota Chinese Academy for over three years, and it's a vibrant place with a group of teachers and parents who are passionate about spreading the knowledge of Chinese language and culture. We also host an annual Chinese New Year Celebration, the only similar event in the region. The experience there is great!

Mission: Sarasota Chinese Academy is a non-profit, non-religious, non-political, cultural, and educational institution. The school offers Chinese language classes and cultural programs to all individuals regardless of race, color, faith, sex or ethnic origin. The mission of the school is to: · Provide quality Chinese language instructions in a safe environment to local community members in Sarasota and surrounding counties; · Promote understanding and appreciation of traditional Chinese culture, history and philosophy; · Promote friendship and serve as a liaison between the American Chinese community and the non-Chinese speaking community,
Results: We are preparing to move to our new location and partner with a nationally known school.
