"I am from a family with limited means. I was raised by a single mother. Growing up, I often didn't get to participate in all of the extras because it just wasn't in the budget. My mother worked, but because of her lack of education, she never qualified for a higher paying job. Now I am a single mother and I worried that the cycle would repeat itself for my children. I saw an article in the paper and applied for the Certified Nurse Aide class at Sarah's Place . I even qualified for a scholarship. I was ecstatic! The idea of getting a career in the growing field of health care sounded just like the thing needed to break the cycle. I can't begin to express how truly grateful I am for this opportunity for me and my two wonderful daughters" Anastasia
