I began attending this nonprofit a couple months ago, and within that time I've received housing assistance, assistance with my food stamps, assistance with my education (completed three of four GED tests so far), and much more. I highly recommend this nonprofit for youth because it has assisted me in starting my life and opening doors in my life that I can now grasp.

I am a youthworks graduate. I first came to youthworks when I was sixteen years old. I am not 32 years old and youthworks has helped me gain the skills to become and lead the culinary program as the program director. YouthWorks has helped so many youth get and stay connected to our community.
I love the YouthWorks mission, and how much the staff cares about their mission and the community. They will provide the service you need, or find the people who can!
YouthWorks is an exceptional organization with 20 years experience serving Santa Fe youth and the community. With staff whose mission is providing service to the community with paid jobs in variety of fields with credentialing options provided for youth in different industries, alongside GED achievement and other educational preparation, they are a truly unique and dedicated nonprofit.
I worked with Youthworks as a teen.
It has progressed into an amazing organization helping troubled youth, to become amazing individuals.
Now they have Habitat, which builds homes,Restoring the rivers, and a huge culinary team that prepares food for most schools after school meals.
A wonderful organization that goes above and beyond for the youth of the Santa Fe community! Varied program options provide multiple paths for youth participants to pursue growth and to take the next step for their future in safe and welcoming environments.
Youthworks does such a great job in helping troubled youth in our area find their way. Whether it is helping them with educational attainment, teaching them a valuable skill or trade, or counseling and helping them find safe shelter, Youthworks continually delivers great results for our community!
Santa Fe !Youthworks! gives young people the tools, support and assistance they need to take control of their own lives and build bright futures. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and really care about each individual they work with. Can't recommend this organization enough!!
The staff at YouthWorks will go to any lengths to help each individual that walks through its doors. They work long hours making sure each youth is met with the specific needs of that individual, no matter the severity or uniqueness of the situation. Maintaining strong relationships with the professional community and local governments is part of their process of fighting for those in need.
YouthWorks is a unique nonprofit organization by virtue of its strength-based and trauma-informed care programs, which fundamentally consider the individualized needs of its served clients. YouthWorks' staff is a proud team of individuals who serve clients in an unbiased empowering manner. YouthWorks' organizational reputation has witnessed a progressive enhancement due to its genuine determination to effectively serve disadvantaged and at-risk youth and young adults. YouthWorks has made a huge difference in the lives of so many clients since its advent. YouthWorks is one of a kind. YouthWorks works! Hicham
Ranging from training for the culinary industry to hardcore work in fire prevention and forestry, this enterprising nonprofit takes and elevates young men and women from hopeless situations into responsibility and a more stable future. Where does our local city government turn when there is a disaster that requires people power? Youthworks. Who provides lunches to many of our local schools? Youthworks. Who works and pioneers fire prevention techniques in our lands and forests? Youthworks. Who reconnects our so-called dropouts back into education? Youthworks. I'd say that's a least five stars
YouthWorks Santa Fe is an innovative, caring and entrepreneurial organization that is highly dedicated to impacting the lives of marginalized youth and young adults through social justice initatices, education, workforce training and civic engagement. In 18 years of service, YouthWorks Santa Fe has changed the landscape of the community that once had blinders on to youth suffering from disconnection to a community in support of young people's success. Thousands of youth have benefited, and more will be assisted with an incredible array of support, programs, entrepreneurism, love and compassionate investment in each and every individual"s personal achievment.
Organizations that helps today's youth should be recognized. I cannot imagine the pressure young people are under in the world today. I very much appreciate the adults that stepped up to help guide me away from trouble as a kid. Invaluable.
Youthworks is Great. They will help with almost anything, or direct you to the right place that can. The staff is wonderful and friendly and welcoming.
YouthWorks has a done a lot for me. It's helped me with getting my ids, getting a job, helping me out with getting things organized with the law. I have really enjoyed doing a lot of the outside jobs, getting to interact with lots of different kids - all ages. I've been involved in Wildland Fire, Habitat, Home Weatherization, and YCC.
YouthWorks helps me with the situations I am going through, and they also help with your GED and to find work. I've been here for three years. I've seen myself change as a person. It feels like a family.
Youthworks is providing me a lot. It's playing a big part in my support system - with school and work. This is important for the youth - who struggle in school. This program here motivates me to keep working and finish school. This plays a big role in motivation and helping me set goals that I'm looking forward to achieving in the future. Youthworks is a huge step stool for me and for others. If I need transportation, they'll provide transportation. They provide free food. Provides a lot of things.
I like the way that YouthWorks focuses on the youth, who are a priority to the future. YouthWorks helped change my change, and the futures of those I work with. They've given me a new sense of hope, a new way to live, and a new way to conquer to problems without focusing on the obstacle.
I've had the pleasure and honor to work with this organization in a few projects. Through these projects I've seen their dedication to provide support, education, services, and a safe space for those who need it most. I hope Santa Fe ¡YouthWorks! continues to exist and grow, because their work is creating positive change not only among our disconnected youth, but also our community as a whole.
I found out about YouthWorks when I was little, through my brother. I got bullied through school, so I thought it would be great idea to come over here. YouthWorks treated me like family, and they've done things for me that no other school would - dentist, doctors, education, work, training. I made a lot of good friends here too, a lot of kids with the same issues and problems as me. I've just had a lot of good experiences work wise. They have great staff, a wonderful director.
So proud to know YouthWorks and their great work. YouthWorks inspires youth to realize their full potential. YouthWorks is a proven program. They impart social skills, foster leadership and community engagement, and teach positive behavior, communication skills and responsibility— all through classroom and hands-on education leading to employment.
When so many people turn their backs and write off at-risk youth, YouthWorks says the opposite. Through education, support, nurturing, and a belief that each individual is worthy, Youthworks helps young lives flourish. One successful program developed by Youthworks was the Green Collar Jobs Apprenticeship Program. At-risk youth were provided with hands-on experience in the emerging green and sustainability industries. Youth worked for solar companies, a company manufacturing products made from recycled materials and green construction. Youthworks is an organization that changes young lives. P. Seeger
YouthWorks has such a dedicated staff, board and community. Everyone works tirelessly to insure that our students are able to achieve success, regardless of the circumstances. I've been with this organization since it's inception and have seen participants grow and develop into promising adults - where there was little hope. This non-profit speaks to excellence and exceeding expectations. Laine Renfro
Youthworks is a group that does amazing work in connecting opportunity youth to meaningful work and education.
One of their many amazing projects deals with building food systems. Through this work, they have trained youth for jobs in the culinary arts, as well as managing greenhouses, composting, and growing vegetables. Youth in the program have prepared approximately 350 meals a day that are provided to students at five low-income school sites. The staff at Youthworks is top-rate. They care deeply about the youth they work with and make a real difference in their lives.
In the three plus years that I have worked at Santa Fe YouthWorks, I have seen the impact that the organization has on the lives of young people first hand. YouthWorks provides a unique model of meeting young people where they are at. All of the staff, volunteers, and board members are extremely compassionate and willing to do whatever it takes to help a young person progress towards their goals. A testament to the organization's impact is the fact that many young people who have graduated from programs come back to visit, or refer family and friend in need of support. YouthWorks is a vital resource in Northern New Mexico, and a refuge for many young people who would otherwise remain disconnected from community, education, and job training. I feel fortunate to have the privilege to work with such a talented team of individuals that engages in meaningful and life-changing work everyday.
