Causes: Alumni Associations, Education
Mission: This volunteer run organization strives to support the students, teachers and staff of santa barbara high school. The support of this program comes from alumni via our work at reunions and newsletters to the members of our organization.
Programs: The scholarship program awared 64 scholarships to selected seniors to be used for furthering their education at college, university or institute of their choice.
gifts to santa barbara high school:a) classroom assistance program (cap): this program provides grants to teachers to assist with the learning process in the classroom. Requests for these grants are to be no more than $500. B) miscellaneous support is given to benefit the school, i. E. , grounds beautification, plaques for distinguished alumni, and improvements to the school building, i. E. , painting window frames and replacing windows
newsletter:this expense is for the publication and mailing of a semiannual publication of alumni news. Approximately 4,000 copies are distributed free to all members to promote scholarships, reunions, dissemenation of school news and activities, promote unity of students and members, to stimulate new members.
