Robin Cohen's passion and compassion has grown SROCF to a nationally recognized charity providing support programs for women and their families, funding for research grants and creating medical professionals collaborations. As ovarian cancer treatments are not a "one size fits all", she is in a constant search to help provide funding for potential cures. Robin and her wonderful staff always responds quickly to calls for help providing a warm and caring experience for those affected by this horrible disease. As a long term ovarian cancer survivor, I am proud to be part of this wonderful organization for over 20 years.

As an ovarian cancer survivor, I have the found Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation extremely supportive. The Executive Director Robin Cohen is very hands on and runs the Foundation with much passion and compassion. She and her staff are there for survivors. One of the programs connects recently diagnosed women with those who are long term survivors. The organization has many fun fund raising events. The proceeds go to research and education. SROCF is very well run and I am proud to be a part of The Foundation.

I have been involved with SROCF for many years, and have attended numerous events and runs with this wonderful organization. As an oncology nurse, I have witnessed the tireless efforts Robin Cohen and her team have dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for the women who face this very serious disease. SROCF is a loud voice as well to our elected representatives to maintain the spotlight on the latest medical breakthroughs and the critical research efforts in the oncology community to never lose the fight in battling this disease.

I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2009 and my parents got involved with the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation to help spread awareness, raise money, and to learn more about the disease. During my senior year of college, I was looking for an internship and decided to reach out to Robin. I learned so much during my time at the foundation as an intern. I enjoyed working in the community to spread awareness and education about ovarian cancer. Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer's events throughout the year are wonderful and help to raise a lot of money for ovarian cancer research. I am so glad that I became involved with this foundation and the amazing family of survivors, families, volunteers, health care professionals, and community members that it encompasses.

We discovered the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation when my sister, Michele, was diagnosed with stage III ovarian cancer in 2003. Robin was really wonderful to Michele and her husband, helping them with treatment options and offering encouragement. Michele wanted to advocate for better treatments and raise awareness about the symptoms of ovarian cancer. Sandy Rollman foundation gave her that opportunity. Over 40 of Michele's family and friends participated in the first Sandy Sprint 5K and we have been walking in the Race every year since then.
Since Michele's death in 2005, our family has continued her legacy by participating in all the wonderful events that the foundation puts on. We have tied ribbons on trees and street corners, worn teal shoelaces, posted countless awareness ads and raised money to fund research grants.
Under Robin's direction the foundation brings together ovarian cancer survivors, families and friends. We have met and worked with so many wonderful people. Robin's vision and dedication make this foundation unique. She is why so many women are now more aware of the symptoms and so many more have new and viable treatment options. Robin is truly dedicated to the women she is working to help!

When my sister was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, she reached out to the Sandy Rollman Foundation for information and support. Robin and Adriana made her feel welcome and gave her a way to raise awareness about ovarian cancer. Over forty of Michele's family and friends came together to walk in the first Sandy Sprint. It gave us all hope! Twelve years after Michele passed away, we are still participating in the Sandy Sprint in her memory.

SROCF is a leader in raising awareness of ovarian cancer. Events and fundraisers include the Sandy Sprint 10K/5K, the Sea Isle City 5K, Designer Bag Bingo, concerts, conferences and advocacy on Capital Hill. Each September they work to turn the buildings and bridges in Philadelphia teal for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.

All the hard work and fundraising pays off when the research that SROCF funds provides new treatments for ovarian cancer patients. Robin and Adriana are completely dedicated to finding a cure and improving the quality of life for women already diagnosed. i could not be more proud to work with these women!

SROCF has provided me with networking with other OC survivors, programs that help us navigate this horrible disease as well as a safe haven for us all to share out stories. Sandy Rollman Foundation also raises funds to grant to researchers to help find a screening test and a cure for ovarian cancer. SROCF is a great and wonderful organization. I don’t know what I would do with it.

When I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2010, it was a devastation beyond words, and I had nowhere to turn to navigate through the physical and emotional pain and stress while dealing with the disease. After I recurred, I learned about Sandy Rollman, and found a lifeline of support with so many other women. Robin Cohen, CEO, of SROCF, personally spoke with me with sincerity, compassion, knowledge, and open arms. She triumphs in her advocacy and support of better treatment, research for early diagnostic tools (there are none at present), clinical trials -- one of which SROCF funded and I was enrolled in - awareness, and a cure. This foundation provides the utmost support for any woman faced with this diagnosis so she does not feel alone.

Dara Barr who passed away from Ovarian Cancer in January 2013 invited me and the Executive Director, Robin Cohen to lunch a year before her passing. She was a no show on purpose. She wanted me and Robin to meet one another and figure out how to take this special organization to a whole other level. And that we have done from a night of bingo to races, now at the shore, too, to a night at the Philadelphia Freedom's with BJK...and the list goes on and on. SROCF cares when this horrible Cancer touches a family. Robin leads it with passion, compassion and a never ending desire to find better treatments and support for those affected by Ovarian Cancer.

I was introduced to the foundation by a very close friend who is a board memeber. I am a military spouse and don’t always live close enough to attend or volunteer, but I am always informed of the upcoming events. I always feel part of something special when I am able to volunteer and now that I am back in the area, I am super excited to be part of the team. As the daughter of a cancer survivor, I know the importance of a good support system. My goal is to be as involved as possible and to share experiences with new friends.

My wife was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer in March 2017. After having that feeling of hopelessness, I started to do some research on other women with this disease and support groups. I came upon the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation in my search and they have been a tremendous resource and support to my wife and me. They are focused on research funding and education, as well as support for the women who have to endure this disease. We can call upon them at anytime for information and they are there armed with direction and to instill hope. We try to attend the many events that SROCF puts on during the year. Everyone is a volunteer and they truly care for the women and families who have to deal with Ovarian Cancer.
The SROCF gave us the strength to believe that you can live a life full of gratitude and joy. My wife and I feel like we have a new family now. Although we have only known them for a year and a half, we feel like we have endured a lifetime of emotions with this organization. I truly don't know how we could have gone through some of the down periods without their support. What they represent and what they do for the Ovarian Cancer community is contagious and because of this attitude, we find ourselves wanting to do more for them and others going through this experience. This organization may be small compared to organizations like Susan G. Koman, but they have gigantic hearts and a truly enthusiasm to find a cure for Ovarian Cancer.

There is not much in life that is scarier than a diagnosis of ovarian cancer. Once the diagnosis is confirmed you feel you are on borrowed time, and life, as you once knew it, is gone. What you need to cope with this disease is the best treatment, the most up-to-date information, genuine emotional support, friendship, and at least a glimmer of hope. The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation provides all of this. The organization's team is committed to raising funds for medical research for the treatment and possible cure of ovarian cancer. The amount that Sandy Rollman has donated to research is quite impressive. The team is also committed to sharing the vast amount of information it has about this disease. One of the founder's, Robin Cohen, is truly a leading and national expert in the field of ovarian cancer. And Robin will not and does not hesitate to share what she knows in a caring and timely fashion. It's hard to express just how important accurate information about this disease can help guide treatment, and it does wonders for one's mental health. As an organization, Sandy Rollman continues to evolve to meet the needs of women with ovarian cancer. The Sandy Sprint started in Philadelphia and has now expanded to Sea Isle, New Jersey and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The organization proudly supported the Stand Up to Cancer Dream Team dedicated to ovarian cancer. Because the organization is acutely aware of women's emotional needs when they are first diagnosed and when they are finished their first round of treatment, they have developed programs to support and nourish these women. Each and every expert in the field of ovarian cancer will tell you that clinical trials hold the key to treating and perhaps curing ovarian cancer. About two years ago, Sandy Rollman's team developed an exceptionally informative but easy to navigate brochure to educate patients about clinical trials. As someone who benefitted from a clinical trial, I know just how valuable this brochure is. The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation is actually in its infancy, well maybe it's in its adolescence, and I know that as it reaches maturity it will continue to grow and flourish and do very good work.

For every year that goes by that I am a member of this organization, the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation continues to make a significant difference in the lives of women. Not only does the organization raise awareness about Ovarian Cancer through fund raisers and special events like its annual races, Gala, and programs like Survivors Teaching Students, but the organization awards grant money to researchers to find a cure and find an early detection test for Ovarian Cancer. In addition, every year its members travel to Washington, DC to advocate for research funding, raise awareness about the symptoms, and work on behalf of Ovarian Cancer survivors and women at risk at the federal level.
The founders of SROCF an its staff are 100% committed to its work, and its membership all work together as team players for the cause. Everyone works tirelessly and vigorously to achieve its goals!

I am very proud to be a part of The Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation for many reasons. First, it is an extremely well-run organization. The co-founders Robin Cohen and Adriana Way have a clear picture of their goals and execute steps to achieve them efficiently. Second, the majority of the money raised goes to research for a cure and early detection of Ovarian Cancer. Various grants have gone to scientific researchers in the field. Third, the members of SROCF are welcoming and inclusive. We all work as a team! No one is left out. Fourth, various activities throughout the year make it possible for anyone to participate. Last, but not least, SROCF provides support for those women and families who are going through diagnosis and treatment of Ovarian Cancer.

When I was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer, I searched for connections. I really wasn't sure what I was looking for. Maybe it was information, support, camaraderie, hope. Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation offers all of that and much more. The CEO and co-founder is exceptionally knowledgeable about ovarian cancer. Her expertise is recognized and respected throughout the country. What the organization has accomplished with its committed staff, patients, and volunteers is remarkable. Raising significant monies devoted to ovarian cancer research, creating a state of the art brochure addressing clinical trials, and developing educational workshops for survivors are just a few of their achievements. For many women coping with ovarian cancer, The Sandy Rollman Foundation offers a lifeline. For those women who have lost their battle to the disease, The Sandy Rollman Foundation promises to keep their spirits alive by continuing their fight.

I've had the privilege to volunteer for many Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation charity events for which I have had the opportunity to interact with Adriana and Robin on a personal level.

I truly believe these woman and organization are committed to end ovarian cancer and their devotion in providing guidance and resources to help cancer patients, survivors, and their family and friends is a true act of selflessness.

Another example of their commitment and devotion is in how they distribute donation; by distributing to those companies and organizations whom have the same philosophies and utilize the monies where the majority of the dollar goes to the cause.
