Sandra'Hope Foundation has been a very good organization to the community. Not only have they come together to help breast cancers survivors and their families in their difficult time but they have also brought so many people together for an amazing cause. They continue to do things throughout the year which my favorite event has been their Volleyball tournament. This event is very big and so many sponsors and people come together to make it a success year after year. I am pleased to have been able to be involved in these events so far and look forward to continuing to volunteer my support.
This organization of incredible women
Has provided emotional, physical and financial assistance to breast cancer survivors like myself. They have been there for me since my metastatic journey began, which is around the time they started this foundation. They do Hope on the Runway where the breast Cancer survivors are the models. They get us dressed and glammed up to be so beautiful for the night. They also have fundraisers to help raise money for them to help the survivors. They go above and beyond to provide us what we need at our time of need. They will always have a place in my heart!
The Sandra’s Hope Foundation has been such a blessing to me and my family in so many ways. As fighters, our fight is not just against the disease. The fight is for time and quality of life. SHF has assisted myself and so many other breast cancer fighters financially and emotionally during the toughest time in many lives. This organization and each of its members displays the utmost kindness, selflessness and dedication as they strive to help improve the lives of the women/men and their families battling this horrible disease. I can not say thank you enough.
Sandra's Hope Foundation helped me connect with other women going through Breast Cancer. The love and support that my husband and I felt at their Christmas party last year was immeasurable. These ladies are Amazing!!!!
I have been part of this organization for almost 6 years. SHF has offered both financial and group support for hundreds of breast cancer fighters and survivors through different programs throughout the years. Grateful to be part of a group of men and women who volunteer endless hours to be able to give back to our community
SHF is a great non-profit that has helped many women in the community in more than one way. Events they host has created bonds between survivors and allowed those going thru hardship to connect and provide support for one another. Not only have they helped survivors or fighters, but the families as well. They provide gift cards during back to school and turkey dinners for the family. If you know someone who's been affected, please tell them about Sandra's Hope Foundation.
SHF is an amazing organization that has helped me every time I’ve needed their assistance. They are there to provide emotional and financial support. I know I could count with this organization if I ever need it. They have been here during this difficult breast cancer journey. I am so grateful to have come across SHF. They are a true blessing to our family and I. -Elizabeth R.
I’m honored and blessed to serve along side with passionate board members and volunteers. Never did we think our small fundraising group would grow into the nonprofit organization it is today. It's truly amazing to see the impact that SHF has made in our community. Not only are we a financial resource, but we work with other nonprofits to provide emotional support to those who are starting their breast cancer journey. We are truly blessed to be a blessing to others.
Working in the breast care industry for the last 13 years it’s nice to to know there is another resource for those who need it. Sandra’s Hope Foundation brings the community together for fun events all while giving valuable breast cancer awareness information.
I am a breast cancer survivor & have been associated with Sandras Hope Foundation (SHF) since 2015 when I participated, as a model, in their annual Hope on The Runway Fashion Show fundraiser. I expected the fashion show to be a once in a lifetime experience; however, did not realize it would be the start of something wonderful. It was the beginning of a bond with an incredible group of women and men from SHF as well as fellow models (pink sisters) which has grown stronger over the years. SHF has given financial aid to fellow pink sisters when they found themselves in dire straits . Sometimes tests or treatment is necessary & there is no time to "wait" for funds or better circumstances. SFH focus is on assisting the community of women (& men) effected by breast cancer. One of their biggest outreach projects takes place during the holiday season when Foundation members & volunteers gather to create "Chemo Care Baskets' which are gifted, along with a complete Turkey dinner, to a breast cancer patient undergoing treatment. A dear friend of mine who had been diagnosed & widowed within weeks of each other was the recipient of such a care basket. I was grateful that SHF was there to provide this blessing to her in such a difficult time. Fundraisers such as Volleyball Tournaments and mixers are done in a professional and fun way. Everyone at SHF treats you as if you are family. They are sincere about "loving you through it".. the journey with breast cancer. They have been there for me, & fellow survivors, in the best & worst of times. We celebrate life in good times at the annual Hope on The Runway Fashion show. We celebrate as we hear a survivor is now in remission. We celebrate being part of a community who comes together & supports those in need during the holiday season. The ladies and gents of SHF join their community of survivors to pray and support those who receive news that they are going to battle cancer for the 2nd time..a recurrence. And there have been the worst of times, when far too many of our pink sisters have passed away. SHF was there for my dear friend , also a former model, when they treated both she and her mother to a special day of pampering . There were no lights or cameras, just friends (several survivors) and the ladies of SHF to bring love and light to the darkest of times. Our pink sister passed away a couple of weeks later. So we, the community of survivors supported by SHF and the ladies and gentlemen who have supported us have laughed, cried & grieved together. It's 2019 & unfortunately women (& men) are still being diagnosed with breast cancer. I am grateful that Sandra's Hope Foundation is active in our community & there to offer HOPE to those diagnosed. Support comes in so many ways.. whether it be financial, emotional, learning about better nutrition & wellness or just creating a support system for those like me who are still navigating their way through life as a breast cancer survivor/thrivor. I believe the compassionate & driven individuals of SHF are even more determined than ever to bring awareness to our community about breast cancer. I am humbled & honored to be associated with this Foundation & look forward to all the great things they WILL do in the future because "No One Fights Alone" !
I can’t say enough about SHF, formerly known as Fabooblicious. I have watched us grow from a small fundraiser to a exceptional non profit and it’s joyful to see that we have kept the same values and vision as we have had in the beginning. The selfless dedication and passion the president, board and team members have, demonstrates the love we have for this cause and proves our good standing as a reputable and credible not-for-profit foundation. It is important for our community to have us, as we are committed to assist and advise those who have been touched by breast cancer.
