This was my 1st experience with this Non profit Rescue & we couldn't be happier or more appreciative. My Brother works in Construction & a stray dog had apparently been dumped at one of their job sites. None of the homes around tried to help this dog. My Brother started feeding her & trying to reach out to Shelters for help rescuing her with no success. This has gone on for a couple of months. When it got very cold he let her in the garage of an unfinished house & provided her with a heavy blanket. Our local Aninal Control is a " kill facility " & when neighbors started making noise about calling them to pick her up we knew time was running out. I found out about this new Rescue in our area & in desperation called them. PCS Pups is the organization. Paige Daugherty is the woman running the Rescue & she was fantastic. I connected her to my Brother & she met him & picked up the dog. My Brother said it was one of the most impressive things he had witnessed. She was professional & knew what to do. Unfortunately there are some physical issues with the dog, but Paige is following through with getting them addressed. We are so thankful she & her Rescue organization are in our area. We may not be able to save them all, but in this case we were able to save this little girl. Thank you PCS Pups❣️
We adopted our dog Charley from Paige and the SITS animal rescue over 18 months ago. They were very easy to work with, responsive and professional. Charley was fully vetted, up to date on all her shots, in great health and condition! We could tell she had been well taken care of! Please use this awesome organization when you are ready to adopt a dog(or two!) of your own!
The entire crew at Sanctuary in The South Animal Rescue truly encompasses everything a rescue should be: dedicated, passionate, caring and selfless. Day in and day out they ensure that all the underdogs are truly given a chance at a wonderful life. Each animal that walks out of the rescue into their forever home is better off because of SITS. I could not recommend this rescue more!
We adopted our sweet Amellia thru Sanctuary in the South.
Our vet said she had never seen a rescue so medically sound. She was spayed, chipped and had ALL her shot PLUS heartworm tested AND they gave her heartworm and flea and tick prevention.
She is sweet and exactly what Allie and her volunteers described. She is living her best life and enriching ours.
We have rescued before and she is by far the best cared.for dog we have rescued.

We have both fostered for and adopted from this incredible rescue group! Our recently adopted puppy was nursed back to health after being very sick from shelter acquired illnesses. The upmost care was provided which is the #1 reason he survived and was able to join our family!
Our girl was saved from the euthanasia list and fostering her was an incredibly smooth process. The support given was unmatchable. We welcomed her permanently to the fam as well!
Dedication and transparency are strong traits of this rescue and their success has been incredible to watch. So many lives saved with so many more to come! We look forward to watching them grow and take the rescue world by storm!
Last summer we adopted the sweetest girl! Paige is such an amazing person and goes above and beyond to make sure the dogs go to good homes. I’m just happy that we were the right home.
I ran across Paige at PCS Pups through the power of Facebook! I have a heart for the old, injured, sick, and unwanted, but not necessarily the funds, that's where my teamwork with PCS pups began! PCS pups provides all the needs, and I provide the home! I'm in Montgomery, AL but through Facebook connections was made aware of the heartbreaking need to save pups in the Columbus/Phoenix City area. I reached out to Paige when I saw she was needing a foster for sweet Merlin (formerly Cletus). She did an amazing job communicating his array of medical needs so I would be fully aware of his situation. Merlin is so sweet, I'm glad through PCS pups he's got a chance at a much better life!
Where to begin..I volunteer at a kill shelter. There were 2 senior ladies and a senior guy.and all 3 were rough looking, so rough no rescue pulled them until PCS stepped up. They saw the worth they had and without hesitation took all 3 on! All 3 are thriving now . Next chapter..Bridgit and Connie adorable little girls..nobody gave them a look but PCS did and they both are doing amazing. Chapter 3..Red Hot and Klein..both are amazing dogs, Red Hot being a volunteer favorite and Klein being a puppy. Both on death row..PCS stepped up yet again and saved their lives! They always, no matter what, find a way to make it work to save lives even when they get them out and then figure it out. Now they've ventured out with the felines and it just keeps getting better!Do I love this organization..absolutely. Do I support this organization..absolutely. PCS PUPS is the best thing that has happened in this community in a very long time!
We had contacted PCS Pups about a pup we found in our neighborhood. We had planned to keep him, but due to no fault of his own he just didn't fit in with our older two dogs. He was the sweetest guy and we knew he needed better than a shelter. When we reached out to PCS Pups they worked with us on getting him set in the right direction. He was set up in a board and train facility so he could learn some commands and manners. The founder of PCS Pups kept us in the loop with everything that was going on with his training, how he was doing and his adoption. I'm so happy we reached out to them to help get him on track and in the right place. They really help to save lives and make sure that the pups that are in their care are loved, cared for and placed with the right family. Their top priority is these pups safety and well-being. We couldn't have asked for a more loving and caring rescue, because they really go above and beyond for these babies.

I have fostered for many different rescues in different states I have lived in, and I was beyond impressed with PCS Pups the minute I met Paige. Her dedication to helping the underdog is truly phenomenal! Last week PCS Pups was at capacity but Paige agreed to rescue a senior dog, Lady, who had been adopted from and was going to be returned to our local kill shelter, which would NOT have been good.
Now Lady is alive and thriving because of PCS Pups, and she's such a happy girl. She loves to roll in grass, go on car rides, or just sit quietly by your side and give kisses. She's so sweet with my bratty 16-pound chihuahua mix, and she's alive today because PCS Pups cared. Please consider supporting this amazing rescue that serves some of the most neglected, abused and in-danger dogs in the South!
When I found out about PCS Pups I knew I wanted to volunteer or help out in anyway I could. I reached out to Paige on how I could help foster. She was very responsive and has a huge heart for what she is doing for all these pups in the south (Georgia/Alabama area). Our family took Potato in until she returned to her full healthy self and found her forever home. Potato was found in a construction site with no shelter or food. Luckily Paige was contacted and was able to get Potato the medical treatment she needed and all the snuggles. Potato was great with both our kids, she got all the cuddles, and was spoiled with love and good food. PCS Pups is such a great non-profit.
Y’all!! This was my first experience with a non profit and fostering a pup. We really had no idea what we were getting into when we took in an owner surrender from our neighbors and quickly found ourselves at a standstill. A friend recommended PCS Pups to us and I couldn’t be more thankful. They jumped right on getting Lucky to the vet for the care that he needed. PCS Pups even came by the house to pick Lucky up, AND dropped him off to ensure he got vet care quickly. The communication was outstanding throughout the whole process. We never went without our questions being answered regarding vet visits, at home questions that arise and they loved pictures of Lucky just as much as we loved sending them. Lucky was the missing piece we didn’t know we were missing. We ended up foster failing and Lucky is now in his fur-ever home. Throughout the process, we meet awesome people who love dogs and provides the best care for them, and gained the best 4 legged child. Lucky wouldn’t be here happy and healthy without PCS Pups and we would be 2 friends less. We love PCS pups to death and can’t wait to foster (and maybe fail) again!!!
You guys! These humans are incredible! Their passion for these pups is beyond words! They fight so hard to provide the absolute best care for each one!
