Causes: Crime & Law, Law Enforcement
Mission: The san jose police foundation is dedicated to preventing crime, saving lives and making our community a better and safer place to live and work by assisting the san jose police department with resources not available from the city. We are the major source of private support for the sjpd.
Programs: To enhance the public safety for those who live, work and visit san jose by providing resources and support to the san jose police department which are not included in the city budget or are not readily available by other means. Also, sjpf facilitates the gun buy back program for the bay area.
