Mission: The San Francisco Studio School is dedicated to the study of drawing, painting, photography and mixed media. The school blends the studio emphasis of an atelier with a spirited exploration of theory and contemporary issues relevant to today's visual artist. Depth of experience is gained through studio work, instructor-led critiques, lectures as part of critical studies and visits to museums and galleries. The uniquely cohesive structure of the program and the commitment to consistent work provides students a meaningful opportunity to develop and confirm their unique identity as artists.
Programs: School offers a 2-year full time program which is comprised of studio workcritical studies and visits to museum and galleries regular instructions for 14-20 students annually
school holds wshops several timnes a year to offer concentrated studies in visual arts weekend and summer instructions provided to 50-75 students annualy
