Mission: San Francisco SAFE is a community-based crime prevention education nonprofit that helps local residents work together with police officers, city agencies, and community organizations to create safe, vibrant neighborhoods. Our programs are offered in multiple languages and are all designed to help community members take an active role in crime and violence prevention.
Programs: San Francisco SAFE has District Safety Coordinators in each police district to help residents find solutions to local problems like burglary, shoplifting, and graffiti. We also provide free assault prevention workshops, neighborhood watch organizing, and home security surveys.
