Mission: The San Francisco Chamber Orchestra is dedicated to making classical music fun and accessible to audiences of all ages and backgrounds across the Bay Area.
Geographic areas served: Greater Bay Area
Programs: The San Francisco Chamber Orchestra presents an annual Winter Concert Series in venues in communities throughout the Bay Area that include San Francisco, Berkeley, and Palo Alto, as well as summer concerts in the Bay Area and on tour. In 2004, SFCO inaugurated an educational outreach program, which will focus on "adopting' schools in different Bay Area communities.
