international cornea projectsince 1984 the international cornea project, thru its us eye banking partners, has provided over 50,000 corneas for transplant to those areas of the world without adequate access to an eye bank. It is the worldwide leader in providing corneas for the restoration of sight.
excimer laser centersince 1994 the san diego eye bank has operated an open-access laser center as a primary source for refractive surgery for the local ophthalmic community. In addition, since 1970 it has operated an eye center for the diagnostic evaluation of patients.
