Mission: The Alliance is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization headquartered in San Diego, California.
Our mission is to take the creative talent, and need of the San Diego population driven to acts of graffiti vandalism and redirect their energy into something sustaining and beneficial that transforms the lives of youth and communities.
Through Diversionary, Education and Mural Arts programs, The Alliance’s programs transform youth and communities through education, empowerment and inspiration. Through the arts, youth are given a voice in their local communities and gain the spirit of its values.
Results: Crawford High School: Introduced Graffiti Education & Mural Arts into the studies of 70 students.
Westfield Mission Valley: The Alliance’s Graffiti Education and Mural Arts program kicked off a three-day underground art event in the mall’s parking structure, which drew locally-prominent urban artists such as Hansl One, DyseOne and The Crown Royals. The artists created large-scale murals on the walls of the garage

Programs: mural arts and educational programs, and implementing a Graffiti Hurts Curriculum throughout the San Diego School system and Justice System.
Through the Graffiti Education and Mural Arts Program, an initiative by the San Diego Cultural Arts Alliance (The Alliance), youth learn how to use their creative energies and talent in a positive way. The organization goes into schools and works with students in an all-encompassing program. The aim is to inspire and educate youth and inform educators about alternative ways of artistic expression. The Alliance and its artists do this beautifully. The organization really cares about youth and local communities.
